Originally I got one that fell off, however customer service immediately contacted me and I got a brand new one. Great customer service. Instructions are easy, make sure to pay attention to the temperature of the car when you do it. That might have been the issue of my original one. The stability is good and it works well and holds my IPhone well.

Bought this a few month ago and LOVE IT! Went to use it the other day and my phone would stick but the arm kept dropping under the weight of my phone. Eventually found that the arm “holder” piece got a crack in one side so no longer holding good tension. Super bummed as otherwise this is a great holder. Trying a different one from this brand, new one has the ability to be mounted on the curved part of the dashboard or car vent.EDIT: Within 48hrs of submitting a claim to the seller website they reached out to immediately replace the product.Received it today, and it looks great and like it’s been updated, looks a little more sturdy at the part that broke on me previously. So happy - this is a great product and holds my phone very securely in place!The adhesive is very strong, I had it on my dash for months thru the summer heat in direct sunlight and it never budged. It took some time to remove it for the replacement, but using a butter knife and patience it came of cleanly leaving no damage at all on my dash.The holder is not only secure, it’s got great range of movement. I love being able to have my phone at dash level so I can glance quickly without putting my head down when driving.

First thing to note if you have an adhesive Magsafe attachment like a OhSnap! Snap 4 Luxe or PopSocket; the magnet will rip off the 3M tape adhesive from the phone or case you attached it to. The magnets are that strong.If you have those flat base rectangular metal insert it won’t work on this as there’s little surface area to attach to. They do included a circular metal sheet insert, but I’d put it in between the case and phone instead of using the adhesive tape as described earlierComes in 2 pieces, 3 if you include the circular metal sheet insert. One for main attachment to car, and another device itself to attach to main attachment so it can swivel left/right. The device base attachment should be magnetic instead of 3M tape as the magnet is much stronger. Main attachment base being 3M tape makes sense since not all car dashboards are metalThe main attachment 3M tape is probably going to give out faster than magnet ring itself. If something were to come loose and fall off; it be the device attached to your phone rather than the phone falling off itself.I like the flexibility of the device. Can maneuver various angles. Able to collapse itself when not in use. The hinge of the arm seems sturdy.I’d try to avoid extreme heat over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Had other 3M tape accessories for before and it comes loose/sticker adhesive melts during a heat wave. we rarely get extreme temperatures where I currently live, and my current lifestyle i park in the garage or shaded area at work; so personally shouldn't have an issue, but something to keep in mind if you are in a different circumstance

I love this phone magnet holder for my iPhone! Super strong. Works great when I need my phone displayed, like for directions. Folds flat when not in use. I put it on my dash right behind and a bit above the steering wheel. I can easily rotate the phone vertically or horizontally. I can tilt it up or down too. Even though I have auto navigation, I prefer Siri and Apple Maps by far.

I wanted something low profile so it could sit near where I wanted it... out of the way of controls and the sun direct heat. This fit perfect! I love that I can easily tilt or rotate the base, I do wish the part connecting to phone could also rotate at least left to right, but it's still great. The magnet didn't seem to work thru my case when I tested it so I stuck it to the outside, doesn't look bad at all and is very strong. This thing barely wiggled while driving. Very happy with product so far.

If mounting on the top of dash - position the front face exactly to your viewing angle, FIRST! The rotating swivel has set positions that it snaps into.The 3M has a strong hold, the quality is awesome, looks good, works well. I would buy again.
