Made for explosiveness and agility on the trail, these trail running shoes are built to complement natural movement -- like barefoot, but better.

3.0 out of 5 stars Many good things, one critical negative
I was looking forward to trying this new incarnation of the minimus. There are a lot of things to like. The stack height of 16mm-20mm, while far from barefoot, provides enough protection to be able to really go fast on trails without worrying about every rock or root, but also low enough to have great flex and avoid ankle rolls. The tread looks like it would work great on most trails and short stretches of asphalt. The shape is nice and anatomical, with plenty of room for toes to splay. One negative, and a huge one for me, turned out to be breathability (or rather the lack of it). The pictures are kinda deceiving. They look like the shoes have very open mesh. In reality the material is so dense that my hand barely feels any flow from inside when I try to blow air through the top. This means it get hot fast, and all the sweat and water gets locked inside. If only New Balance made the upper breathable this would be superb shoes. But as it is, they are going back.
4.0 out of 5 stars Unfortunately
Awesome styling just needed this in a X-Wide which I think they don't make it in...so I had to send it back. Otherwise I would have kept them. Because the sole was very comfortable!
5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable all day
Very happy with this sneaker specially for long days. I order wide toe box which allows my feet to spread out. This modern pointy toe box shoes are very uncomfortable. From now on all my sneaker will be wide toe box and thin soles.
5.0 out of 5 stars So far so good!
These are not the shoe they used to be and fortunately I stocked up on the previous model. This definitely is not a replacement for that shoe. However, I needed a minimal trail running shoe with a little protection between my feet and the rocky terrain where I live. The previous model didn't have enough to not hurt my feet on rocks. This shoe is perfect and what I needed. I do need to find a good replacement for the previous model and just hoping something will be released in the next few years, as I have 3 pairs to hold me over. Just note to order a half size up. I'm a 10.5 narrow men's in most everything and had to return and get a size 11 (most women's shoes are too short for me at size 12).
5.0 out of 5 stars I’m liking them so far!
My last experience with the NB Minmus was the first gen. This one is built quite robustly. I usually wear the 4E size but have managed to squeeze into these.
3.0 out of 5 stars Seems like an awesome shoe... If only it fit.
I am a 10.5 or 10.5 Wide in basically everything. Occasionally I've even worn 10's in certain brands or models. I bought the 10.5 Wide in these and the whole forefoot area was too narrow and too short. I returned it.
3.0 out of 5 stars Toe box could be wider
I like everything about the shoes except for the width (yes, I ordered wide size), hence the 3 instead of 4 or 5 stars.
No es lo que esperaba
Me gusto que es de buena calidad. Pero es tipo esponja para usarse en agua o con Kayak. No es un tenis de piso
