I admit it, I have never bought an expensive flat iron before. I have always stuck to the ones in the 20 to $25 range. At that price point, I have gotten a few that were fantastic and a few total duds.It was time to buy a new flat iron and this one was on sale, I checked the reviews and other countries first, and decided to try it.As long as it lasts like it should, I am thrilled with my purchase. This is a high quality flat iron that does a fantastic job on my hair without pulling it out! I can really tell the quality difference.I have very long, fine hair.

This straightener gives a perfectly smooth strand on the first pass through on curly, frizzy hair. I have always loved BabyLiss straighteners, but this one is a new favorite. I would definitely buy again.

The iron was great for the 1st few weeks and all of sudden now the iron doesnt turns on anymore. I only used it for 2 or 3 timed in the 3 months I had it.

I bought this to replace my Paul Mitchell flat iron that I'd had for several years. I loved that flat iron, but didn't want to have to shell out $150 for a new one. I got this flat iron for half that and it's actually better than the Paul Mitchell! I love the digital readout too!

This hair straightener works well, but it shuts off too fast. I like to turn my straightener on while I dry my hair and then straighten right away. This one turns off before I am done drying my hair. If I walk away to grab coffee or any other reason, it turns off before I get back (I am never gone long!). I love having an auto shut-off feature, but this shuts off within just a few minutes. Very annoying and is unfortunately a deal breaker for me. My hair also get stuck in the sides of it and it pulls my hair out. Back to the hunt for a good one!
