1.0 out of 5 stars Dont buy this!
It doesnt work. We tried to mount on multiple surfaces and it does not stick, including not sticking on surfaces they recommend. . Terrible product. Dont waste your money.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent drying rack
This drying rack is perfect in our laundry room that give extra space to hang clothes to dry. It can be easily installed (using the suction mechanism) and folded when not in use. It is also very very portable if ever needed or even to move it to another location in the house. The quality of the material used seems to be sturdy and thus far it is working great. An excellent drying rack.
4.0 out of 5 stars Must be installed on perfectly smooth surface.
Review of ELAINESTORE Portable Clothes Drying Rack, Retractable Wall Mounted Laundry Room Organizer.I have 12 inch tiles on my bathtub wall. My hope was that I could hang a drying rack inside the tub area without damaging the tiles. This unit says that it will hold up to 25 pounds and is anti-rust, so it would have been perfect for hanging wet clothes up to dry. This unit uses a large suction cup to attach to a smooth surface. I had thought that my ceramic tiles were large enough and smooth enough to accomplish this. Unfortunately, my tiles weren't as suitable as I had hoped. My tiles have the tiniest bit of texture, which doesn't work well with this suction cup. Evidently you need a perfectly flat and smooth surface for the suction to hold over the long term.I would not attach this drying rack to a window, as window glass is not made to hold up weight. Window glass is often held in place by a few tiny glazier points, which are tiny, and a bit of caulk and trim. None of these items were made to be weight bearing. The product does have a large rotation, but it isn't 360 degrees, which would be a full circle. If this drying rack is applied to a wall, you will be able to rotate the arm 180 degrees (a half circle) at most. The product seems sturdy. I wish it had worked for me. I gave it 4 stars, with the deduction due to the misinformation in the product description.

It only stocks to granite counter. Will not stick to any of my tile surfaces.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Quality
This drying rack is truly portable yet it’s sturdy and stable when it’s installed (it stays put) and it is of obvious high quality construction. I’m a senior with somewhat limited hand strength and I had no problem installing or removing it (removing it did take a bit more effort but it was totally doable). Initially, I was not able to install this rack in the location I had hoped for (my shower) as my shower has mosaic tiles and they were apparently not flat enough and/or there was not enough continuous tile area for the suction to adhere; however, I was able to adhere the suction unit to a counter and then position the rack arm over a sink to drip dry small items.
4.0 out of 5 stars It stays put on a mirrored closet door
I was skeptical that this would hold, but I was proven wrong while doing laundry yesterday. I don't plan to use this where I tested it (it will get used on a window in a laundry room), but the only smooth spot I had available was a bathroom mirror over a sink (not ideal) or a mirrored, sliding closet door - I chose the latter. Since the door itself isn't "stable," I didn't have high hopes, but this stayed put...like, really really put. It was much harder to "lock" than I anticipated (hence the great hold), so the first time it didn't work. The next time, I really put my body weight into it (as much as I could on a door that moves in its track) and it worked perfectly. I hung about 6 partially-dried pieces of clothing and this rack wasn't flinching.I really appreciate that there's a sort of 'holding' mode in the center of the lock (left is unlock, right is fully locked in - the tough one to get turned) so you don't have to get the tab flipped over all at once, while you're trying to hold it in place with weight behind it aaaaand crank that dial all the way into its locked position. Many people won't have this problem, but some people will. I don't have dexterity issues, but I've got the beginnings of arthritis in my hands, plus I'm short (hard to get leverage to hang this above decapitation height), so I had to work maybe a bit harder than the average bear. My man could do it in one fell swoop. I had to stand on a step-ladder. As I do for most things.I was able to get this through Vine for a discount, but I'm about to repurchase one for the tester house, it was a lot more convenient than hanging things off doorknobs and the edges of freestanding drying racks, and it folds to stow away nicely if you plan to take it down after each use.
5.0 out of 5 stars Love this!
I live in a high rise apartment building and like to wash delicates, socks, and gym items more frequently than doing large loads of laundry in the common laundry room downstairs. I was looking for a convenient drying rack for my clothes, especially one that wasn't wall mounted because I don't like drilling holes in my apartment. This drying rack was appealing because it has a suction function so I wouldn't need to drill holes in the wall. Well, it definitely works. I was able to hang this right on one of my large windows to let my small clothes air dry with the sun beaming onto them. I can also remove it easily when I have guests and it's foldable so it can just be put away. It works so well for my needs. Great idea to have this use suction rather than need to be wall mounted. I'm very satisfied with this item.
3.0 out of 5 stars Portable Clothes Drying Rack, this is a heavy duty clothes drying rack.
I had hoped that this would fit the tiles in my bathroom where I hand wash my silk scarves and hang them in the shower where they dry quickly. The suction cup is too big to fit the tiles in my shower area, I tried on the glass shower door but it would not stick to that either. I have grab bars that use suction cups to attach and they work fine. The weight of this rack requires a really big suction cup so I can't hang it in my bathroom at all. It's disappointing because I had great hopes for it.
