I only wore Charlotte Tillbury lip liner for years, which I would wear as both a liner and lip filler. The average cost of that brand is about $30. I was running out of it and needed to order, but Bolo happened to be ‘out of stock’ in my color that day. Not sure when it would be available again, I tried to find a similar color to wear in the meantime. Unwilling to pay the higher cost of a Charlotte Tillibury type brand (not knowing how it would look on me), I stumbled upon Julep. I wasn’t expecting much, but it BLEW AWAY my expectations!1- It is a very creamy liner, and since I use it as a liner and filler, it is so easy much easier to apply. It also looks very smooth with rich with color.2- No sharpener required. Sharpening lip liners and eye liners are a pain in the butt. Julep lip liner already has a naturally shaped point to it, but if you want an even more precise point, just twist up with the built in sharpener for the perfect point. Plus, it’s retractable, so you never have to worry about smashing that perfect point, when you put the cover back on it.3- The color LASTS! I have never had to reapply during the day, including after a meal. Now, if you wear a more vibrant color (maybe black cherry, perhaps), you may want to “touch up” to return to when you first applied (although I don’t think you’d HAVE to). The color still looks great! I wish my skin tone allowed me to wear richer colors, but they are not flattering on me, so in all fairness, since I wear more muted colors, that may contribute to why I don’t have to reapply during the day.4- The cost! This liner is literally 1/3 of the cost of the more expensive name brands. Charlotte Tillbury liner costs $30, and Julep costs $10. It is now my “go to” everyday liner. I simply can’t justify paying $30 for a product that is actually inferior to one that only costs $10.Overall, Julep is certainly worth a try at only $10. I have all of my girlfriends converted! Give it a chance…I doubt you’ll be sorry!

I really like this lip liner. I've ordered others on Bolo but returned all of them.This one is the same color as pictured and goes on smooth. It lasted most of the dayl. I will buy it again when I run out

Im leaving one star because the color of the product was cute but that’s about it. The product is only 1/4th of the tube, the twisty thing to bring it up doesn’t work and I took it on a trip in my purse (not even in the checked in bag) and the whole product fell into the lid and melted into it after being left sideways inside the purse. I was only able to get 2 uses out of it and considering that it was almost empty in the first place, I feel like I would have been able to get a max of 5 uses out of it if it hadn’t imploded during the trip. It’s a shame, the color was cute but I won’t be ordering again. Can’t return it because I threw it straight in the trash.
