I used this today before getting a BHRT pellet insertion, and it worked great! Takes the edge off any lidocaine shot (in addition to the cream), blood draw, or Brazilian waxing. Just follow the instructions to put on a heavy layer topped by Saran Wrap for an hour, then rub in the remainder. I plan to always have this on hand for life’s prickly events!

I bought this cream to use on my upper lip and sides of my face for electrolysis sessions (I have a full tattoo sleeve and electrolysis on the upper lip was more painful than any tattooing in my opinion) and it helped considerably vs. the session I had done without it. My advice is to apply a thick layer and really take the recommended time period to have it absorb seriously. The cream seems like it’ll last a long time based on how little I use per session and I would truly buy it for any future tattoos in sensitive areas!

Cleaned the surface of the skin. Wrapped for 15/20 mins. Nothing happened. No numbness at all.

I recently tried the Tattoo Numbing Cream Maximum Strength (45g) with the hope that it would help ease the pain during upper lip threading, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite do the job. While the cream does numb the surface of the skin, it doesn’t penetrate deeply enough to make a noticeable difference during the threading process.I had higher expectations, thinking it would provide more substantial relief, but it only seems effective for minor surface discomfort. If you’re looking for something to numb more sensitive areas or for more intense procedures, this might not be the best choice. I’m still searching for a more effective option, but for now, this one falls short.

I completely fell asleep while getting a piece done on my back! For sure takes the edge off when you're sitting for a larger piece. I've used multiple times all over. Shin, ankle, hip, side and back - it worked much better than the other one I first purchased here with good reviews. Now if I leave it on too long it does start to irritate the skin making it swollen and red, but it wasn't a problem for the artist and did not adversely affect my results.
