I bought this to make shampoo bars. First time making it. The recipe asks for shea butter. Which you don't need a whole lot. Less if you have oily hair. The shampoo bar now has moisture. Good for my skin as well. I like the smell, texture, and color. It's a good value for your money.

When it comes to what I’m putting on my skin I’m very very very picky. I’ve worked with lots of different Shea butters in the past. I was hesitant to purchase from Bolo but the sellers I would normally purchase from only sales it in bulk. I just needed something to make a few body butters for me and my little family. I read the reviews and I took a chance with this. It’s AMAZING. Smell is how shea butter should smell, it’s not rock solid hard it’s easily applied to the skin, I whipped mines with coconut oil and aloe Vera gel and it feels amazing. Skin looks amazing. Some people’s Shea butter has particles in it and you have to sift them out. This Shea butter is clean and fresh. Great quality. I will be ordering again . If you’re hesitant definitely try this. I make 2 16oz whipped body butters and still have so much left!

I like the smell, it’s very moisturizing and soft. But I don’t know what this dark spot is at the bottom of my Shea butter. It says it expire in 4,4,2026. But overall I like it, I don’t know why I thought it would be taller I think the picture made it look taller than it it, but I’m ok with this it will last me a while.

This stuff is junk. It's gritty, too soft, and the container was cracked when it arrived. It has a strong odor, shea butter stinks naturally but this one was like the bottom of the barrel. I had to transport it to another container to salvage my money. I should have just returned it. It was a mess. Buy a better quality. I don't understand the positive reviews.Update: when I melted this down it smelled like used motor oil. I ruined a double batch of body butter. The smell was awful! I returned this. Don't waste your money here.
