I have a 14 Year old and a 12 year old son and you might think that they will not be interested in this kind of lego set anymore at their age but they really enjoy this and are now talking about colleting the whole Mario lego set.It does have the Mario theme song and all sounds as you move the characters around and do your quest. They would change the arrangement of the set and play it again just like the video game. They currently have this set and the original Mario set. They are looking into expanding by adding more sets to it.
