It's very nice, I used it in my daughter's room to put up some of her little artwork from school. She really liked it, though.... it had to be replaced because the first one was REALLY scratched up from the little pieces being packed inside the case and floating around in there. The second one was much better, but still somewhat scratched up, but I decided it was good enough, and I gave up hoping for one that didn't come with scratches. Ultimately, if I could get one without being shipped with scratches, I would absolutely buy it again, though, ultimately if I did it again, and it came the way it did, I would have just chosen not to buy ultimately.

I love the cork backboard, this made it easy to put in & display my key rings.The screws & anchors did not hold the case to the wall. The screws pulled out.

I ordered this because the description said it was a magnetic closure shadow box frame and I wanted one that I could open from the front to swap out items on display. There was an option with a corkboard backing and this one, which said it had a gray fabric backing. The fabric is like those felt boards teachers use with felt letters and numbers in classrooms.The lock is a lot more noticeable than I imagined it would be. The product photos show it being used with personal photographs, dried flowers, and scrapbook-type items. Honestly, none of those items usually need to be locked up. For home use, the lock would be a nice addition if the box were being used as a shadow box for medals, valuable memorabilia, a jewelry collection, etc. The lock isn't necessary if you just want to use the magnetic closure to easily open the box to switch out pictures or seasonal decorations.This box would be perfect at the office to display event calendars, notices that everyone needs to see, or other items that are important and shouldn't be removed or vandalized. It would also work at a cafeteria to show a list of meals for the day or week, or a place of worship to show a list of readings or songs for the service.The metal frame is very sturdy and well-made. A little bag of push pins, installation screws, and two keys is included inside the case. I removed the sticker covering the lock and there was sticker goo left all over the frame. Since the frame wasn't exactly what I had in mind, I changed its purpose and checked to see if some Hot Wheels cars might fit inside. Taller cars didn't fit, since the space inside isn't very deep, but smaller ones fit perfectly. My new project will be to arrange a collection of the cars for display. The magnetic closure is very secure, but I think the lock will add a layer of protection for the display of cars - no accidental opening once the frame is placed on the wall.
