5.0 out of 5 stars Warm, comfortable, and long battery life
Warms up fast and stays warm enough just on the low setting. I live in my car, so it gets cold for me at night especially when you have circulation issues, and this worked really well especially for when your hands get cold and numb easily. The product is simple to use and understand, comfortable (I have sensory issues with clothing and slept in them the first night) and it comes with a very interesting usb-c charging cable that allows you to charge both at once through the same outlet!! which is just very cool. I’m a sucker for everything hands-on resourceful. I didn’t even know they made those, but very useful for things beyond the gloves. You feel a bit of what I assume to be the power source through the gloves (like a small box on the cuff that is slightly heavier than normal gloves) but after wearing it for a bit you forget it’s there. They are also super grippy on the palms, so good for things like hiking or skiing I’d assume. I haven’t had to charge them yet, so can’t say anything there, but that just means they have a good battery life. As I mentioned, I wore them overnight. They have a feature that turns them off after an hour of use to prevent burning and overheating, so I would wake up to turn them back on a few times throughout the night and they still haven’t had to be charged yet after at least two or three hours of use. They fit the same as most other fingerless gloves I’ve had, so I’d say they’re pretty true to size. Overall I’m pretty happy with these
5.0 out of 5 stars Work great
These gloves are amazing. They warm up right away, the battery pack lasts quite a while , they fit good and they even have the finger covers so you can take it off if you’re doing something that requires your for free to be free.
5.0 out of 5 stars Clever mitten design, fast warm up
I really like the folding mitten design and it warms up to a comfortable temperature within a minute. The gloves are made of a soft but tough synthetic fabric and has rubber grips on the palm.It takes about 4 hours to charge completely. The battery lasts a couple hours, but possibly less if it's very cold. It's very comfortable for biking in cold weather. My middle finger is 3 inches long and the medium size is a very snug fit, especially with the mitten flap on.
4.0 out of 5 stars Comfy and warm; usage time < charging time
My thoughts after a week of use: Overall, I like these gloves a lot. They warm nicely and seem like a good quality product suitable for light use. Personally, I got them specifically to wear while keyboarding during work, so I appreciate the lightweight polyester fabric. However, I would not consider this product at all suitable for heavy work (like construction) or for rough work (like gardening); the fabric would not hold up very long. They may be suitable for hiking, bicycling, or other outdoor activities if treated with care and (obviously) not immersed in water.Pros:- The glove fingers come up halfway and aren't bulky (lightweight polyester), so they're great for things that require full dexterity (like keyboarding) but include permanently attached mitten tops (non-heating) that neatly fold down and secure via small magnets to the backs of the gloves when not in use.- High and low heat settings are easily adjustable (and while a safety feature turns the gloves off after an hour, turning them on again restores heat quickly).- The gloves charge via an included Y-configured male-male cable (USB3 on the glove ends and old-style USB on the port end), thus using only one USB port.- Although the gloves come in only Medium and Large, Medium works just fine for small hands.Cons:- Full charge takes at least four hours, but heat lasts little more than three (probably unavoidable for this kind of product); the included cord is too short to charge while using (unless maybe via ext cable), though it's unclear (and the instructions don't indicate) whether using them while charging is even possible.- Direct heat goes only to the lower half of the palms and around the outside of the hands to the same area on the back of the hands (though the heat does radiate somewhat).- The word HOT is printed on the back of both gloves in bold white (kind of odd but likely mfr "CYA").- Based on the poor English translation in the listing and instructions, I'm almost sure this product is made in China (or somewhere in Asia), which concerns me only because of global warming.NOTE: These last comments do NOT relate to the product's function and usefulness.Re. packaging: Unfortunately, in the first package I received, both the product box (originally sealed with a round piece of tape) and inner sealed bag containing the gloves I received initially had been opened, and the box contained no power cube (which I thought was included). Exchange shipment took a week (likely because L-ion batteries can't go on planes). In the replacement package I received, the product box clearly had been opened and resealed with plain tape, though the inner bag was still sealed. Again, the box contained no power cube, so apparently the product doesn't include one. I thus kept the replacement.Re. replacement delivery: The package was placed by the door, as usual, and I realized it was here because I checked the website. I was home when it arrived, but the bell didn't ring, I didn't hear a knock, and I certainly didn't sign for anything. Nevertheless, the delivery note online stated the following:*** "Your package was delivered. It was handed directly to a resident. Signed by: Kristen" ***I'm OK with how the package was delivered but find the delivery note a bit disturbing; I wonder what my signature looks like. Perhaps signatures are required for certain replacement packages. Although I'm grateful to have received it without the necessity for additional delivery attempts, why not just actually have me take it by hand and sign for it? Maybe the driver knocked so softly that I didn't hear it, but this is a small home and I was listening.
3.0 out of 5 stars I like it, could be better. Absolute gold for winter weather dog walkers.
I've had mine for a couple of days. Purchased to help keep my hands warm while sitting at my desk all day. They work, and they produce heat. I am on the fence about keeping them since they do not fit in a way that has the heating element higher up getting the head where I need it.I like that they are fingerless but have a magnet mitten flap, I wish there was a thumb cover. I am leaning towards returning since they don't solve the problem I bought them to fix. But if they had a thumb cover, these would be absolute gold for dog owners since you can tie a poop bag without removing the gloves.I'm a lady with relatively larger hands and I got the medium size and think these fit well. One glove has stitching coming apart and I have worn them 2-3 times. The heat doesn't really reach into my palm and fingers the way I hoped it would. Once you get the glove on, the plam heating element actually sits quite long and into the wrist on me. I wish the heating element was a bit more centered and higher on the palm.
