    I bought two of these after seeing the demonstration of how they can put out a stove fire. You no longer need to spray fire extinguisher chemicals everywhere and then have a horrible mess to clean up afterwards. These suffocate the fire at put it out in seconds! I had used it once and it worked great on my BBQ PIT. I have one by my stove and one on my BBQ PIT. Plus they are REUSABLE!

    I didn't give 5 stars because there is no mention of the fiberglass splinters you could get. The blanket works as described and is a great idea. I bought as a gift for someone and demonstrated how it works. After handling it, refolding the blanket, and putting it back in the case, I came away with those tiny fiberglass cuts. They eventually went away after a few washings of my hands and throwing all my clothes in the laundry. I would still buy the blanket, however, from now on if I have to handle it I'll make sure I'm wearing gloves. I would use it without gloves- no problem- if there was a fire but for demonstrations or familiarizing yourself with it, make sure you wear gloves.
