Very delicate and nice tinted moisturizer. To see the color and get the smoothing and moisturizing effect a few layers are needed, but that doesn't create any cakey look or anything like that. The color is very natural and warm, so won't fit a cool-colored outfit.The packaging is top. Ten out of five for the case and the magnetic closure. Beautiful and a pleasure to hold, use and display in public. Great price for the value.

I'm giving this 5 starts because I've ordered foundation, lip stick and mascara from Catkin and it's all been great. The lip sticks and foundation are so light and natural feeling it's amazing, but they also provide good coverage for a decent amount of time.In regards to this purchase I was not a fan. I am 50 yrs old and got a wild hair to try Rainbow. It is way pinker than I thought it would be no matter how many or how few layers you put on. So I gave it to a friends daughter who loves it. It should also be noted that I have red hair and I should of known better. lol

The packaging is amazing! It has a magnetic close. The visual appearance of the lip stick is also so beautiful! It went on smooth, but It didn’t really have any color changing. It also didn’t stay on long. The application was also loose so the lipstick was rubbing on the side. If the color would have stayed, I would have replaced it.

I purchased the shade "Amythyst".I've seen this clear color changing lip balms for a while, namely the "winx" brand at target and ulta. I think I tried one on at ulta and did fancy it.I wanted to buy one for a friend of mine as a Christmas present because she's been wanting one. I did some browsing and ended up going with this brand (catkin). It had the highest rating per review, and the packaging was very pleasing, we both love Asian dramas, so this Chinese brand seemed fitting.I was skeptical about if it would work, the colors looked light on the picture. Naturally, I was going to try it out first and then repurchase for my friend if it met my expectations. And oh my god it so did.First of all, my skin is of a medium complexion with olive undertones, and this showed up beautifully! The color I chose is a light pinkier color on the picture, but on my lips it's a little darker, literally just by a shade, and maybe more red. I made my sister try it out, her skin is darker than mine, by a shade or 2, she has more of a brown complexion with neutral undertones, and on her, it deposited pink, very much like the picture. I don't know the mechanism behind ph changing technology in makeup, but these are my results. Both of us loved it.Second, I don't wear makeup often, and I've gotten out of the habit of wearing any lip color. I used to wear a lot of dark colors, liquid lipsticks, and regular lipsticks, but it's such a hassle to maintain it throughout the day. So, this is such a suitable, happy medium for me. I get to wear some color on my lips without looking overkill. If it smears, the color doesn't slide all over the place. It's just so pretty and natural-looking, which I'm now obsessed with.Now, in terms of the color payoff and how long it lasts, it's almost like a stain, I notice that even if the shine of the balm goes away, there's still a light color left over. I don't find it to be dramatically buildable, you can definitely reapply, but it looks like the same shade just refreshed.Third, I'm very sensitive to the feeling of stuff on my skin. I don't like lotion, or the feel of oil on my skin, I hate gloss and most chapsticks because they tend to slide all over the place.BUT THIS BAAABBBYYYY, oooo boi !I am so thrilled to have discovered this brand and product, I actually went on their website to buy an entire set of these. If you have severe dry lips, I don't that this really cater or advertises to those problems, but as far as an every day hydrating lip balm this goes above and beyond. It delivers a very light but nourishing feel with it being to slimy or sticky or dry. Its the goldilocks of balms in my opinion. When I have this on, I don't feel tempted to take it off like I do with others because it's just that comfortable. You don't feel it on your lips but it's there.If you've been looking to buy a clear color changing lip product, I highly suggest going with this brand. It's beautiful both in deposit and packaging; it has a magnetic closure which just feels very luxe, secure and durable. The artwork is just gorgeous, it's effective at delivering a nourishing and comfortable layer on the lips along with sporting a beautiful natural color :)

I recently discovered this brand and have bought several products from it. So far I've been really pleased. Great quality, great price, fast delivery. I own several lip sticks and they are very nice. I am buying more for holiday gifts. I have my daughter addicted to them as well. Worth buying .

Initially, mine was delivered with an Bolo shipping label slapped onto the gift box itself, which ruined the gift box with it's adhesive backing. The gift box wasn't sealed, & had apparently opened up, so that the 3 lip balms inside were missing. So all I received was a damaged gift box.Bolo did replace the item, & upon request, shipped it in more secure packaging (an envelope) but the gift box still had no seal. Fortunately, each lip balm was inside this time, and each was individually sealed in a cellophane wrapper, so that was a marked improvement.As for the lip balms themselves, they are all very nice. The colors are good for my pale complexion. Even the darkest one, which is nowhere near as dark as it looks, is a nice shade. They also come in attractive magnetic tubes.☆☆☆ only because of dealing with the inconvenience of a return, and the fact the gift box itself wasn't wrapped securely.

I love this brand of lipstick/tint. I have ordered it in 5 colors. The colors work well with my ph apparently because the colors are what I expected. Will be ordering more to keep in my purse!!

Pretty packaging.. does make my lips feel soft and moisturized. Gave 4 stars only because it had an orangey tint which is not flattering on my skin tone. so just use it when working from home.

This does actually come out like the photos. No real colour, sheer and glittery (but not too much - I can wear this to work) and feels soft! Very happy.
Very soft colour
I am very impressed with the quality of this product. There is a very light transparent colour with just enough sparkle. The case is of quality. I only wish it lasted longer in the lips.
