I recently purchased the PlayStation DualSense Wireless Controller for my daugther PS5, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and features. The controller is very nice. It has build in audio haptics, and haptic feedback when playing games on the PS5. It feels really robust and sturdy too. It looks sleek, and its color scheme is really nice. However, good luck trying to use it with a PC. It has no software built into it (thanks Microsoft) meaning that if you play games without Steam, you do not get any features. In fact, sometimes while playing games on Steam, the controller isn't recognized so you will have to emulate it so that the game thinks you are using an XBOX controller. Good on PS5, meh on the PC.

The DualSense Edge controller is a game-changer. It takes everything great about the standard PS5 controller and elevates it. The customizable back paddles, with multiple attachment options included, add a level of flexibility that's perfect for different play styles. The easily swappable thumbsticks, with various caps included, make it feel like a premium product. The two "Fn" buttons on the front can be assigned to controls or even programmed with macros on both PS5 and PC. It works flawlessly on both platforms, and Sony has even released a dedicated app for PC customization.I've experienced no issues or complaints—it’s simply a fantastic controller. The only drawback is the higher price, but for the features and quality, it's well worth it.

Just what I needed to run my PS5. It is a shame they only last about a year before you get the left stick drift problem, but the controllers that allow you to replace the stick yourself are just too expensive.

Only took 1 star away because it doesn’t come with a cord. When you first sync it to your PS5, all the info says to physically plug in your new controller with the cord that it came with but it doesn’t come with it. And like any device, it can be picky as to what cord you use to sync it but it’s kinda annoying tbh.The controller itself is good. Nothing special, I had to buy another one because my previous one just kept giving me issues. I’ll write a different review but same controller (same model, just different color) but they don’t seem to have the same type of shelf life that the ones that came with the consol but maybe its just me. It kept pulling left, after changing pieces, it still gave issues so decided to get this controller. Love teh Iron Man Red but like I said, nothing too special.

I had been borrowing an Xbox controller for PC use, but I grew up primarily playing on Nintendo and Playstation consoles, only having access to Xbox consoles and games years later (college), when I made friends who had them. I'm now married to an Xbox gamer and between the two of us, we have... well we have a lot of consoles.I have switched to playing more games on PC in the past year, so I haven't dove into the PS5 scene yet, which means I didn't have a dedicated PC gaming controller of my own. I could have gone with an Xbox controller (Windows for my Windows PC), or any one of the many other brands out there, but I Know the Playstation controller. From playing Spyro in 1999 on my first Playstation, to dozens of playthroughs of Shadow of the Colossus starting in 2005, to so many Assassin's Creed journeys, and then to Red Dead Redemption 2 more recently: I have thousands of hours of familiarity built with this brand. The buttons all click like classic Playstation buttons. Everything is where I expect. It has a good weight to it; not too heavy, not too light. It fits in my hands better than the larger profile Xbox controllers, and it's nostalgic despite the updates Sony has implemented design wise. While I love the sleek new look, my only real complaint thus far is how almost slippery the controller feels. I understand why people buy grippy skins for their controllers, and perhaps I may be among them soon.Originally, I was going to get the white controller, but it seems there have been more issues with those, and shipping times were weeks out. My second choice was this Starlight Blue, and it was delivered same day so I was able to test it out very quickly. So far I am pleased with this purchase. The DualSense has worked well with Steam and connected via Bluetooth to my computer without issue.I have only tested it on Praey for the Gods, but I am looking forward to using it for a PC playthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2.As I add to my PC games and use this controller more, I will update this review if there are any issues, or if I have further comments on performance, integration, or user experience.

The media could not be loaded. O controle é extremamente bem construído, tem ótimo peso, se encaixa bem em mão grande. Chegou rápido, cerca de 5 dias, eu compraria o do Xbox pq jogo no pc, mas a tecnologia que tem nesse controle do Playstation é de outro nível, n me arrependo nem um pouquinho. Super recomendo!!!
