Double-sided. Very pretty. Nice thick durable plastic. One of the very few companies that have the words written correctly on both sides. Most companies have 1 side written backwards. I hope they do a set for Easter.

Acrylic discs are quite sturdy, good adhesion and clearly printed. Took off one star due to the tremendous amount of bad stones in the kit. I will say that even though I had to pick through the stones (annoyingly time consuming) there was no danger of running out of any of the colors. They look very nice, I look forward to using them to decorate.
