I bought this as a backup for such times when you run out of batteries on your wireless headphones, but still want to continue to use your iPad with wired headphones. It worked right out of the box, no need for any configurations, etc. Charging is as fast as using the iPad’s built in port, and sound quality is superb.

The internal DAC works exactly as advertised. I was initially skeptical given its lower price when compared to other hi-fi audio equipment, but my M1 Pro MacBook was able to see the full 32-bit/384kHz audio option with AppleMusic Lossless playing through it.The DAC is a little more bass-heavy than the ones in my MacBook Pro and iPhone 15 using Apple's USB-C adapter, but not at all muddy or lacking in clarity in the upper frequencies. The iPhone Music app would even play Dolby Atmos tracks through the DAC which added to the depth and clarity. It will be more than adequate for hooking into a car stereo and could even be a slightly better adapter for hooking up an iPhone to professional sound equipment.I did not test the power delivery side yet, but assuming that works this is an excellent product at a fantastic price.

I’ll start this off by clarifying that the device itself isn’t noisy, but if it’s being used with a noisy device it may compound.I’m using this to connect my phone to my car and the sound is good. It doesn’t stay good when no sound is playing. If you pause a video or a song the connector will stop driving the output lines and leaves them open. This picks up any electrical noise in the area and can be quite loud especially if you have the volume raised. The first time this happened I was listening to a talk show and when I paused it the radio started screaming at me as if I had no device connected. Sadly this limits its use for my purpose unless I modify my car.

This is Meta’s fault. The Quest 3 assumes this is for output as of August 2024. Meta does not yet support this adapter. It works great on my Mac for all uses. Meta supports the official headphone jack to usbc adapters from Apple, Samsung, and Google. None of those split(allowing charging while using a mic) like this one unfortunately.

Great value and performance, however the USB-C connection grew faulty and, with slight movement, disconnects entirely; when other devices I have do not exhibit this behavior. Love the materials and magnetic snap though!

I would just like to stress up front that the USB C connection here is purely for charging, not data. The diagrams in the product description do say this, but I probably just missed that back when I bought this.I bought this partially to try to overcome my new phone's annoying lack of microsd slot and headphone jack by connecting a microsd reader to the USB C port of this for my music. Obviously it didn't work, but it says on the store page that it doesn't work so what can you do? For its intended purpose (which I have been using it for since then), the audio quality is good enough for my usual outdoor headphones and the charging port works fine.

Los compre ya que tengo unos audífonos Sennheiser y los celulares de hoy en dia ya no tienen el jack de audio :/. En cuanto al producto no he tenido ningún inconveniente, muy buen producto. Lo unos en un Iphone 15 pro max y una ipad pro 12.9"

Funktioniert uneingeschränkt so wie es sein soll. Audio Wiedergabe funktioniert und das laden ebenso. Der Adapter ist sehr leicht und die magnetische Funktion vielleicht praktisch.Der Preis ist super!

Nulla da invidiare a dac molto più costosi, per poche lire e la comodità, trasforma un cellulare in uno straordinario streamer. Provato anche al PC di studio converte tutto bene. Forse unica pecca, ma visto il prezzo si può accettare con gioia, è una leggera enfatizzazione sulle medio alte cmq piacevole. Assolutamente consigliato
