My toddler has to use sensitive skin sunscreen (that is expensive), and I send one of these to daycare and keep one at home. It goes on evenly and I don’t have to worry about waste. I hated putting on lotion sunscreen and have been using spray sunscreen for years. I know the lotion works better, I just hated the mess. I can now buy lotion and get a container for my other child and use a different sunscreen and she can apply it all on her own. I will be buying more for my husband and myself as well. I got waterproof printable labels to put our names on each one.

So easy. Only need the one item in the bag instead of sunblock and applicator.There are replacement pieces when the foam gets gross.And it's fun and easy for the super independent toddler. 10/10 recommend and will buy again.

My wife turns into a toddler when she has to apply sunscreen to herself or to me because has a visceral reaction to the feel of it on her hands. When we use spray, some spots are always missed. This summer, no one was burned. She loved them so much, she bought another one for body lotion at home. Her skin has never looked better. Her tattoos are coming back to vivid life. If you have a lotion-hater like I did, this will make them a lotion lover!

I saw this over and over on videos from different YouTube moms. I kept looking at the price, and I just couldn't do it. I am the frugal gal, and I always try to DIY things. But I have four boys 12 and under and we live at a high altitude. We're outside a lot in the summer, so we use a lot of sunscreen. I finally decided to order this, and I feel like it's pretty expensive for what it is. It's not thick plastic, so my biggest worry is that it'll break when dropped. That's a lot of wasted expensive mineral sunscreen, and the loss of what I paid for the buddy. I hope that doesn't happen, because almost $20 for one season of use is not a good deal in my opinion. It would be smart to create a rubberized exterior that is more durable.Pro-It fills easily, holds a good amount.It's portable thanks to the cap.I can use my own sunscreen.Application to the face is so easy.No more sunscreen all over my hands.No more bottles of expensive sunscreen squirted all over by my 4 year old.Con-It does not apply evenly. It is very streaky. You have to turn the applicator to the side and rub the product you've applied around with just the side of the sponge.It applies way too much product if you keep the reservoir above the sponge. Or even if you just try to cover every part of the appendage using the rollerball. This may not be an issue if your sunscreen is thick, but ours is certainly not runny and it's a problem.Overall, this is a better way to apply sunscreen especially to kids. Spray is the easiest, but nearly all of them give you less, cost more, and have nasty chemicals. The sunscreen buddy definitely still needs some improvement.

I absolutely love this thing! I bought this for when my husband and I went on a cruise to the ABC Islands. We used reef-safe sunscreen and it’s only available in the lotion style and I hate the way sun screen feels on my hands after rubbing it on. This was so easy and convenient! It’s mess free, fast and easy to apply/reapply as needed.

Well, it may work for a child or a little female but with my surface are of the skin it is too much work to roll around my fat body it's unfortunately a fact. I did my best and "rolled" my left arm but it does not poor much as I guess sunscreen is too viscus for this roller, anyhow you will have to go back and force like a painter with autism trying to paint hippopotamus with a small brush... after 1 min of this obnoxious exercise I got tiered and sweaty (cleaning my sweat with this sponge was so nasty that I first and last to use it our family) and had to just unscrew this and use my fingers to apply. Would've given it 0 starts but my wife used it on our tiny daughter and it seems to work well so works on kids I guess as long as they skip meals frequently if you know what I mean.

My husband bought this and I initially thought it was going to be a waste of money. I am happy to say that I was wrong! It makes putting on sunscreen a breeze. My kids, aged 12, 10, and 6, can now all do their own sunscreen and help each other do their backs. This means they can all get ready to swim while I am getting the drinks, snacks, and towels so we can all get in the pool faster! The best part though is how much LESS sunscreen we now use. It puts on just a little bit, but it’s actually just the right amount. I have bought so much less sunscreen this year than I usually do!

These have been a game changer this summer. My kids are outside a lot and sunblock is a must. They hate putting it on, I hate putting it on. But these make everything easier. The roller ball is great and the sponge helps spread the sunblock nicely. You still need to rub it in but half the battle is won as my kids like rolling it on themselves. Will purchase again!
Disappointed
Extremely disappointed in this product. I had high hopes, but after only a month and a half, the ball has completely stopped rolling, which means no sunscreen is dispensed. I'll stick with roll on sunscreen, even if it means they cost more.

Where has this been all my life as a mom? This product should be available everywhere! No more fighting with my kids to get sunscreen on them, no more sunscreen hands, I could go on and on. I let them put their own sunscreen too with this. So much easier

Bien, pero no es suficiente la cantidad de bloqueador que aplica
Muy útil para evitar la sensación de colocarse bloqueador en las manos, lo cual ayuda para que mi hijo se lo ponga, pero deja una capa muy delgada y resulta insuficiente. La forma como resolvimos fue colocarle un extra de bloqueador directo al roll on para aplicar una capa más gruesa, pero sería muy bueno que permitiera una mayor cantidad de producto y que éste fuera uniforme.
