    I’m currently using it was an outboard for my 14ft aluminum skiff. At max I can reach approximately 5mph. It would be better as a trolling motor, however it is excessively loud. It’s simply more or less a weed whacker with a propeller on it.

    I just used this for the first time and the engine/propeller will only run if the choke is on. When choke is moved to off position it dies. Any tips would be helpful.

    Just received my motor today shipping was fast and the motor was in great shape I put together topped off the lower end and put 20to1 mix gas in it, it fired up with 2 pulls. I ran it 2 hours changing rpms as the directions say I will get the other 2 done tomorrow. Gonna get it on the water saturday. just using it for trolling replacing an electric trolling motor. Seems to be an excellent buy time will tell. Can't wait to try it out.
