5.0 out of 5 stars My daughter loves it!
I’ve been buying these since my daughter was 8 months. She loves these foods, if you child is on purées and you would like to find the next best thing this is great for introducing texture. I wish their were more of a variety though.
5.0 out of 5 stars Taste good
My toddler really like this, and she can be a picky eater
4.0 out of 5 stars Our toddler was willing to try a few bites
Our toddler loves pasta sauce, so we thought that this might be passable as something similar. Unfortunately, the texture seems to be the most off putting part of it for her. I tried some, and the orzo has a really wet texture, like it's soaked in watery liquid. I can't say that I'm a fan of it either. The flavor of the sauce is a pretty familiar one; if you've tried any sort of tomato based baby food, you'll probably find it familiar too. We'll probably re-introduce it to her a few times to see if it'll grow on her. The packaging is convenient and the wholesome ingredients list is nice to see.
5.0 out of 5 stars A Convenient Way to Introduce Texture and Veggie Power!
These bowls are a lifesaver for busy parents. They heat up easily in the microwave or warm water, and the portion size is perfect for little appetites. Plus, they come in a pack of eight, so you have plenty on hand for those hangry meltdowns (because let's be real, they happen). I love that they're packed with veggies – sweet potato, cauliflower, spinach – it's like a veggie hiding party in a delicious curry sauce! The puree is smooth, but there are also soft diced potatoes and bits of cauliflower and spinach. My little one wasn't too sure about the chunky bits at first, but after a bit of encouragement (and maybe a few mashed-up bits to ease them in), they were happily gumming away. It's a great way to help them develop those chewing skills!I would like it to be higher on the calories, but so far, doing two packs seems to work for us.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great introduction to new flavors.
I absolutely love this baby food. It's definitely more advanced for a baby who may not be exposed to many textures and flavors yet and is having trouble. My 11 month old is not taking well to solids. She tried this food, took a few bites, then rejected it. But that's not to discredit it. I plan on trying again in a few weeks. The dish has a bit of chunks but they easily mash down with your finger or teeth/gums. Mixes well with other solids like rice if your baby is ready for it. The flavor is not too strong with curry. I think it's a great way to expose a baby to something beyond the plain flat vegetables, and it's healthy. When my baby rejected it I just added the food to my dish that night and finished it up. Crossing my fingers I can get this into my baby soon.
3.0 out of 5 stars Good, but could be better
Tasty enough, would prefer rice or pressure cooked bean pasta or pressure cook beans instead of wheat. Would really like to try some other ones, but they seem to have some very high oxalate ingredients like spinach. we can allow some moderate oxalate veggies, but the super high ones I don't think are appropriate at this age. People are becoming more aware of that anti-nutrient. Some are more sensitive than others, and many only find out when they're much much older that these things can cause some damage to vital organs, for example. this is all based on some very new research.
