I had been really looking forward to giving my pups these Yak chews as I had heard they are long lasting and good for the dogs. My most aggressive chewer took 30 minutes to eat an entire one. My least aggressive chewer was closer to an hour. That's not long lasting to me at all. I thought this would take a few chew sessions before they were gone. My dogs are huskies which have a decent bite psi and a I took that in account before rating these. They absolutely loved them though and I will continue to buy for them to have a special treat.

These are substantially sized, great for big dogs and big chewers. I took these out to take a picture and my dog came and grabbed one up, I almost didn't get to take the photo. I wasn't sure he would go for these as they're really hard. They are cheese made of yak and cow milk. They do smell cheesy but not strongly.My dog is still enjoying chewing on it! Happy I could offer him something completely different than the usual! Top! Blessings!

These Yak cheese sticks are a healthier option for our girl. They last almost as long as a comparable rawhide bone and we think they're healthier for her. They are not cheap (quality never is) but we felt confident ordering these as they are from DinoVite which makes premium supplements that we use for our dogs. And they're made in the USA.We give these to our girl when a bad thunderstorm is rolling in. She has a rough time with thunderstorms, but we've been able to distract her completely by giving her one of these chews.We love these sticks and will be stocking up to have on hand when storms are in the forecast.We highly recommend!

I save yak treats for when we can't get out for a walk on rainy days to make my dog's day at least a little more interesting, haha. My dog loves them. I got the pack of two Dinovite YakoSnaks Medium/Large size and they are great for my 60 pound dog. She will seriously sit down for a whole hour chewing on one. Tiny pieces do drop off as she chews, but she goes back and licks those up later.

One of my dogs showed interest in this snack but I think the cheese was just to hard to chew.These treats would probably be best for aggressive chewers.

Two large chews. They kept our dog occupied for over an hour. They don't have much of an odor.I noticed on the instructions it said that once the chew is small in size that you can microwave it and it will become a puffy snack. I didn't know what "small" meant as it's a subjective term. So I figured when it was about 1.5" in length i'd pop it in the microwave. I'm not sure if they say this because it becomes a choking hazard, but I erred on the side of caution though and monitored my dog while he was eating it, that way I could be sure to take it from him once it became small.I popped it in the microwave for 45 seconds and it did puff up a bit. It was super hot when it came out, so I let it cool before giving it back to our dog.Overall I am very happy I ordered these for our dog, though at $10+ per stick, they are a bit pricy, so I'll probably reserve these for a special treat!
