Excellent hatchet. It is a premier tool that will more than accomplish it's task! I've used it and am impressed with it's sharpness and quality straight out of the box. Would not hesitate to recommend it for the camper that needs a roaring campfire or to clear a trail of obstructing trees and limbs. I also like the fine leather sheath that comes with it.

A quality hand hatchet, good wooden handle with leather snap on blade cover to protect the edge when not in use. This axe has enough heft to cut through most wood. It is an ideal tool to take backpacking and for use chopping limbs if you don’t have the use of a chain saw. The edge is so sharp, it reminds me of a knife blade.

It was a gift for my grandson. He loves the outdoors and I thought it would be an awesome addition to his outdoor collection. I didn't physically see or hold it, but he was impressed with the weight and feel of the product. He also said it had a nice edge on the blade, and it came in a nice decorative case too. I believe it was definitely worth the buy.I gave it five stars for these reasons.

Received it in a timely manner and was pretty stoked I would have it before a camping trip. Took it on the trip and split four small logs from home that had be dried for over a year. Fifth log head snapped off. I would say its an uncommon fluke, but still a bummer. Blade was good a sharp and it cut great but the handle seems dry rotted i guess. Putting a new handle on wont be to bad so id still try to buy agian for the price.

Arrived as expected. Workmanship quality is very good, feel very good, good balance, sharp. The curved handle fits my hand perfectly. This is a good axe worth every penny. I'm happy to give it a try. Highly recommend.

Axe handle is a bit too short to chop anything other than small sticks effectively. Otherwise, good quality and feels very robust.
