I was a bit skeptical about using these as computer speakers at first, I thought they would be be too powerful for desktop use, but I was completely wrong! They're perfect! The treble is clear and crisp, and mids are punchy and prevalent. For the size of the speakers the bass is quite good too, but don't expect a bunch of bass. If you want that, you'll need a subwoofer to accompany these. Overall though, I highly recommend these speakers.

Best speaker for the price, to me the only speaker from the HS series that sounds better is the HS8s and Ive tried them all, from hs4 hs5 hs7 hs8. The bass is surprisingly there! (as far as a small speaker can go of course). and to me it sounds the most balanced of them all. I really love them, if I was gonna nitpick anything I just wish it had bluetooth.

I keep them on my stand-up desk and listen to them all through out the day. I can crank them when no one is around and set them down a bit when people show up and the sound is still accurate. Do not expect much base from these speakers, the bass is there and its tight, but you will not shake the pictures off the wall with these.

I got these as an upgrade for my presonus 3.5 they cost more and I don’t think they are really worth it but they are pretty good

I am a bit of a sound snob. I like to make my own music, and I must say these things are great for getting a good even sound. Easy set up. Good size for a small home studio. I will likely be hanging on to these for a long while.
