I hate dates. I've tried them in cookies, tried them plain, I don't like the texture or the taste of them at all. So when my midwife told me I needed to start eating three big ones a day to help make labor easier when it came along, I thought, "How in the world am I going to do that?!" I found these on Bolo and decided to give them a shot. Y'ALL. These are delicious! They taste like a mini candy bar. You can barely taste the date. It's like a caramelly, chocolatey, almondy treat. They aren't too sweet and they are easy to eat. If you are pregnant and hate dates, get these. Don't let the lack of reviews scare you. These are one of the most underrated items I've ever purchased on Bolo.Only con: wish they were a smidge cheaper. But they're 75 cents each, so you're spending less than $1 a day on something that could make labor easier. I'd say that is worth it.
