Just got my new trash can and I love it!! The matte finish is very nice. The inside finish of the lid is much more cleaning friendly than my previous trash can. I love the trash bag holder in the back!! That's going to be a very convenient feature for me. I haven't ever had a trash can with the air freshener holder, I'm looking forward to trying it out though. The lid rings are a nice touch too, keeping the trash bag in place, and concealing it well when the lid is closed. Trash capacity is great, same size as my last trash can, so it meets all my needs. Very nice product.

I've been looking for a new trash can for my kitchen and am so glad I found this one by EKO! Compared to my original 13 gallon one (cylindrical), this 17 gallon one is definitely big, but I absolutely love it since I cook a lot and generate a lot of trash. I'd like to note that I purchased 20 gallon trash bags on the side just for this trash can.The step mechanism works really well and isn't flimsy like some other trash cans. Plus, as a lover of functional products, the fact that this trash can comes with a compartment at the back to store additional trash bags is AMAZING (also thank you EKO for the 2 included trash bags)! Also, they have a built-in deodorizer compartment which I think is definitely a splurge but a worthy one to ensure that my kitchen doesn't smell (Note: Deodorizers not included). The soft closing is also a nice touch since now my trash can's lid won't constantly slam after I let go of the step. Furthermore, the wide opening is great for when I have to swipe food scraps off of my cutting board, it was a precision act with my cylindrical trash can which led to some food scraps on the floor, but I won't have that issue anymore!Before I bought this trash can, I used to kick my cylindrical trash can all over the kitchen for convenience but that caused a lot of scuff marks on the floor and small dents on it. I'm glad that now I have this trash can to act as a permanent fixture in the kitchen.Overall, I think this trash can is extremely well designed both functionally and visually. I can't wait to put this trash can into good use.

I needed a new can and planned to switch from a plastic to metal body. I love the frame top to help hold the bag in place. I like that the top can be raised to a hold open postion. What i don't like is that lack of something to make it easier to open the top with using the foot pedal. In all my previous cans, there has been a sort of "lip" making it easy to lift. The design on this can is streamlined. Yes, this looks nice but while I was on crutches, the foot pedal was awkward and an manually easy lift lid would have been nice.There is storage on the back for bags that came with it. We like the bags and have now ordered more. There is also an odor filter area but one was not included so we ordered that too. I'm not impressed at all with the "odor control" this is advertised to provide. Overall, It's a nice looking design lines, a strong & sturdy can that works well and cleans easily. A good value for the money.

I've been using the EKO Hudson 13 Gallon Trash Can for a few weeks now, and it's a standout in my kitchen for two big reasons: the bag storage and the deodorizer compartment.First off, the integrated storage compartment for extra bags is brilliant. Gone are the days of rummaging through drawers for a new bag. Now, I just reach behind the can, grab a bag, and I'm all set for a quick change. This feature alone has made kitchen clean-up much smoother.Then there's the deodorizer compartment—a simple, but effective solution to an age-old problem. Adding my favorite air freshener keeps the kitchen smelling fresh, without the usual trash can odor. It's a small touch that makes a big difference in maintaining a pleasant kitchen environment. I also use EKO Trash Can Deodorizer as well and it seems to work quite nicely as well.Other than these features, the capacity is perfect for my needs, surprisingly fitting more than you'd think without taking up extra space. The matte stainless steel design also looks fantastic. I hope this can will last and very happy with it so far.

I have wanted to replace my trashcan for the past couple of years, however, I subscribe to the adage "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". And my old plastic trashcan was fine until the lid recently broke. So I went to Bolo in search of a beautiful stainless-steel trashcan. I was careless with checking the dimensions of the first one I purchased, and it was tiny. I returned that one and purchased this beast. It is gorgeous, I love soft close lid, and it's high enough so that my dogs can't access it. Added bonus that it has storage for trash bags and came with some samples. I do have to order the air freshener for the back, I kind of sad it didn't come with that sample. I placed dryer sheets in the holder for the time being.
5.0 out of 5 stars Love the design of the lid! Quiet and able to stay open
The lid is the star of this trash can. The quiet closing mechanism is truly silent. I can also click it in an open position for when I'm replacing the trash bag. There's an inside plastic piece that holds the bag in place and a lip that comes down to hold it and hide the edge of the bag so you never see the bag when it's closed. Looks sleek and modern.The one thing I don't like is the bag holder attached to the back. I have to move the entire trash can away from the wall in order to get out the new bag. Also, the roll of bags that came with it does not fit easily in the space. Otherwise I love this so I decided to just ignore the bag holder and keep extra bags under the sink.
