5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible performance
It is very good to cooling. It meets your expectations in terms of performance. It works very quietly and cool.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great graphic card
Easy to install and great performance
5.0 out of 5 stars Great budget card (for now)
GPU's fluctuate in price almost like the temperature during a typical Texas spring. This is no exception. As of late May 2024, it is a nice card that can play 4k video quite well, and is not terrible at 1440p gaming. It does best at 1080p, and it runs quite cool with most games. I don't generally benchmark, nor am I obsessed with squeezing out every single frame from games. But I like this card very much. Coupling it with my 5600G (and disabling the iGPU of course), and I get competent, and often excellent framerates in the games I usually play.I don't play anything more powerful than Galactic Civilizations IV, (I do still love III as well), so I can't say if it is a "great" gaming card. It is for a strategy/RPG gamer like myself. FPSes are fine (I play Doom Eternal at quite a good clip, but not that often.) Still, if you're reading this in the future, there will probably be another card that is better at the same price point. I don't buy cutting edge, and I don't mind missing out on the most powerful components. (I just built an AM4 PC, so I am not THAT worried about the future.)I even like the color, since 90% of my case is white. :)
5.0 out of 5 stars Seems to be going strong.
Bought this refurb when it was going for $400. Great value for a GPU. It's very overkill for what I am doing with it, but had no issues doing furmark tests. It is a very large and power hungry card, so you will have to plan your build around it. It barely fits in my Y40 case with a Deepcool Assassin 3 heatsink above it. I've seen online that this is one of the more popular models for its OC potential, and it has 3 8pin slots you can use for power delivery.I have had good luck with it on my secondary rig where it currently lives, and might move it to my main PC if I ever feel like full on comparing it to my current GPU. Would reccomend at the $400 price range, or maybe wait til the end of the year when the new model stuff comes out and ebay deals start flooding in. Pictures above size compare it to the old MSI R9 290 this was replacing.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great, Not the best
I have received the product, Its very nice and everything. However one problem is that for new people to PC building or Swapping GPUs who know little to nothing about PCs, is that this needs a manual how to swap GPU from Nvidia to AMD or to swap it in general and another section dedicated how to install drivers and all that. I knew how to do it and Its pretty nice. Not really beginner friendly when swapping GPUs. This goes for ALL GPUs and don't think is just for this one specially.Overall very NICE GPU, I like it and it works just fine :)
5.0 out of 5 stars 8GB RX 6600 XT as advertised…
It came in a box, wrapped in a heavy protective plastic, and arrived this morning (a day early). I have installed it and updated the drivers from the RX 580 it replaced. I also ran the 3DMark Demo, screenshots attached, but I kept all autoload programs loading at startup. These screenshots were taken just after the test finished to provide score and temp readings. The RX 580 was stupid loud when it ramped up, and is mainly why I upgraded. This ASROCK card is quiet. It is a tad noticeable on extreme, heavy load but that is if you are listening for it. The RX 580 also has this ridiculous ramp-up on startup that was even louder than its max airflow; if I reset my system at night, it would wake the wife every time. This ASROCK does not do this. It ramps up to the same decibels as the sound when it’s pushing extreme frames, which I don’t even notice, I legit have to stop and listen to hear this. I am ecstatic I don’t have to hear that fan anymore. This card hit about 130 draw earlier, but I was pushing it and the processor hard. At idle it’ll hit 9-15 depending what is running (I mainly run VLC, VSCode, Firefox DE, Ubuntu WSL in Windows Terminal, OneNote, AMD Adrenalin to monitor temps, Discord, f.lux, File Explorer, Lively Wallpaper, and Python IDLE.Quiet. Much faster than the 4GB RX 580 it replaced. Cool. And so far, reliable. I will update in a couple of weeks or months, or sooner if anything happens, but I’m glad I paid for this versus the 12GB RX 7650 I had my eye on to purchase. I’ll likely build a new system in 2-3 years, and this card will hold me until PCI-E 5.0 and DDR5+. I’ll dish out more for GPU power then.Paired with a Ryzen 7 5700G, 64GB 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM, a 700W PSU, and two Acer 27” 75Hz monitors. It runs Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate, Forza Horizon 5, Gears 4 & 5, and Hogwarts Legacy above 60FPS. Aside from Hogwarts, they hit triple digits, but Hogwarts still breaks 80 and never struggles. My coding and compiling run well too.I have zero complaints thus far. I will update in time to see if I find any by then. Cheers!
5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what I needed
This card is perfect for what I wanted to accomplish. To use Steam cloud and play games on my Steam Deck and a TV, I purchased a used pc on eBay for about $60 however it has a very weak power supply. At 180w and no 6 or 8 pin graphics connector, my options were limited. So far I’m able to run games like One Piece Odyssey and Crisis Core Reunion at 1080p no problem. The rest of the system consists of a Ryzen 5 2600 and 16gb of 2666 ddr4. Posted in the images are my 3D Mark Time Spy scores with the 2200g and integrated graphics vs R5 2600 and RX6400. Hope this helps in your decision!
5.0 out of 5 stars Nota mental
Bon

Chegou antes do prazo, bem embalado e protegido!
