I found these fresh and crunchy, just like all the Blue Diamond almonds. The consistency of quality is there. I don't find myself reaching for this flavor as much as some, however. They are a little sweeter than I'd like, and not quite as 'bold' either. A little additional heat would pop them up a bit. They are still quite nice with a zippy bbq rub type flavor. I give them a 7 out of 10.

So, I popped open a can of these Blue Diamond Almonds, and let me tell you, it’s like a party in my mouth, and everyone’s invited. These almonds aren’t just your average, run-of-the-mill nuts; they’re like the A-list celebrities of the snack world. I’m talking Clooney status, people. You open that can, and boom—roasted, salted, and dressed to impress.Now, I’ve been known to go off the rails with snacks. I’m like a tornado in a convenience store, but these almonds? They keep me grounded. They’ve got just the right crunch, not too soft, not too hard—Goldilocks would’ve settled down with these and called it a day. Plus, they’re heart-healthy, which means you can stuff your face and still feel like you’ve got your life together.Let’s not forget about the flavors. Wasabi & Soy Sauce? That’s like a flavor explosion that’s probably illegal in some states. And then there’s the Smokehouse—oh man, it’s like a BBQ joint in your pocket. You can smell the hickory wood and everything.So, if you’re looking for a snack that’s got swagger, style, and a little bit of sass, look no further than Blue Diamond Almonds. I'm one of those people that find Takis and Hot Cheetos to be way too spicy for me at times (not that it stops me from eating them) but these were a lot more bearable. I think I also paced myself with these more than I would other snacks because of the smaller quantity, so maybe that's why I could handle the spice better. They taste great and they are absolutely COVERED in the spicy/flavored powder, which is a huge plus if you're like me and hate getting a flavored snack just to have it be a barely noticeable layer of powder.

This review is for Carolina Reaper flavor.If you LOVE spicy food and nothing is ever hot enough for you, these might be perfect for you. Bottom line, buy these only if you want something REALLY HOT - and don't say I didn't warn you.I love spicy food. Usually, even the hottest foods are mild to me. No hot sauce is hot enough. I ate Taco Bell Diablo sauce with a spoon. I use 6 packets of chilli sauce in Wendy's Chilli. Extr Flamin Hot Cheetos are disappointing to me. I cut 6-10 fresh cayenne and sereno peppers into 1 serving of ramen. Nothing is too hot for me, until now...BUT these almonds ARE TRULY, PAINFULLY HOT, even for ME!!! Warning! I opened the container and ate just 1 almond. For a moment that one almond seemed like a 911 crisis event. My tongue, lips, and throat were ablaze. It was HOURS before I found the nerve to try a second almond. Yes, they are that hot.These things are HOT for real, not the usual "extreme hot" that really isn't. These are literally painful. Before you buy, just make sure you really want all that heat. After that 1st almond, I honestly thought I might have to toss them, but I have now (4 days later) managed to eat 1/2 the nuts. (These are excellent if you are dieting and tend to gobble up nuts too fast.)I doubt I will buy these again, as they are a bit extreme even for me. I started to give them 5 stars, because they are exactly as advertised. If you are buying Carolina Reaper, you should expect extreme heat. I decided to deduct 1 point for flavor. The flavor is ok, appearantly just peppers and almonds. I think a little sugar might have helped the flavor.FYI, the antidote to spicy food - in case you try these. MILK or milk products like sour cream actually neutralize capsaicin, the chemical responsible for the heat in red peppers. Crackers or bread will also help by absorbing the spicy chemical. Water is NOT considered helpful, as it will just spread the heat around your mouth. Good luck!

Blue Diamond Almonds Sweet Thai Chili flavor is a total winner! The sweet and spicy combo is just perfect, giving you a delicious kick with every bite. The almonds are super crunchy and fresh, making it hard to stop once you start snacking. It's a great choice if you're looking for something flavorful and a bit different. I have tried several versions of these almonds.Sriracha - Great flavor, you can eat them without setting your mouth ablaze.Ghost Pepper - Medium heat, a handful will get your mouth fired up and your lips burning a bit.Carolina Reaper - Three of these will set your mouth on fire, make the dogs run away, and I am pretty sure they would be effective in exterminating fire ant mounds.

Pricey slow but tasty
This item took a long time to get to us and it was pretty pricey for a small can of nuts, but they were worth it. They were delicious. If you like things either a bit of heat without being ridiculously hot, these are for you.
Extremely small size
This is a very tasty product BUT the price is absolutely ridiculous. I should have looked at the size but having purchased these in a bag before had assumed it was a much bigger package for the price. I would not pay 1/2 this price for twice the product. Lesson learned
