I needed convenient access to hot water while away from home and this exceeded my expectations. I’m very particular about the water temperature for my coffee and I am able to select 195F without boiling (185F and 175F are also options). It heats quickly and although I use it at its full capacity for my size cups, if you need to save water for later it will keep its temperature. I’m glad it’s available in turquoise (Tiffany Blue) because it matches my color scheme! It’s done well after a few weeks of use and carrying in my bag. The cord is detachable also.

It is a lifesaver for my parents while traveling in Yellowstone. They used it multiple times a day to make tea and instant noodles. Perfect size for this task. The reason of 4 star instead of 5 is because of its potential safety issue. You have to wait for a few minutes before you can safely open the lid after the water is boiled. One time my dad opened it too soon and the hot water erupted and spilled everywhere and burned his hands. I wish there was a safety mechanism that prevent people opening the lid too soon, or at least a LED indicating when it is ready to open the lid.

This product is exactly as I had hoped. I am a tea drinker, and the coffee makers in hotel rooms just don't cut it. I hate to use them as they are usually kind of gross and always taste like coffee. I like a large mug of tea in the morning and this is the perfect size for my 16oz mug my husband packs for me. It heats the water pretty quickly and the temp is great. My tea tastes like tea! I also used it for hot water for some oatmeal one day, and was perfect! I will say you do actually have to wait at least 45 seconds ( they suggested 60-90 seconds but 45 was sufficient) after the water boils to open it because it will spray everywhere and you could get burned. ( I tested it at home and did not wait and got sprayed. yikes) I was a bit skeptical but purchased it anyway and I am very glad I did. if you are on the fence about it, get it. You will not regret it. This will travel with us everywhere!!!!

When traveling with the entire family plus baby, wanted to have some simple comforts of home with me. I like to bring my own coffee and be able to make baby formula on the go (vs whatever the hotel provides in-room) so I have ability for food/energy/coffee when my hours are not matching the hotel restaurant hours. This little kettle is the perfect thermos size that packs into any side area of my carry-on, takes up practically no space, power cord goes inside.It heats water fast! Much faster than the usual in-room coffee maker. Temp is also easy to adjust, although I usually just use the lowest boil setting 175F. Little reminder when it is done, auto shut off if I forget to shut it off, super easy cleanup, and looks nice. All the buzz points I wanted in a to go kettle, without being the popup kettle type I replaced. Other than that, a few months in and most of that time traveling all over, it has been a great sidekick.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this. I wanted a small electric kettle to use in my car on camping trips for dehydrated meals and hot drinks that wouldn’t pull 700+ watts on an inverter. I’ve been pleased with how quickly it boiled water. It may not be the most precise tool for the exact right temperature for a specific tea, but for my purposes it works well. The construction doesn’t feel flimsy, it is light, and the shell is made from plastic, but that hasn’t been an issue so far. For the $, would definitely buy again.
