The media could not be loaded. I was not compensated in any way for this review. Feeder was shipped using Prime and arrived in 2 days. The unit is small and functional and we bought it to feed a feral cat that hangs out around our house when we travel. I connected it to my wifi and followed the instructions provided in the manual. Set up was fairly easy. We set it up in a cat box we have outside on our deck and it fit perfectly. Also secured it with bungee cords so it doesn’t fall over or when the neighborhood raccoon decides to come visit. A Velcro belt came with the unit to secure the cover and it is tightly fitted. Food dispenses on time with scheduled feedings. We also made sure the size food wasn’t too big as it may get stuck according to what was advised in manual. We have a mix of meow mix and temptations dry food and there were no issues with food getting stuck. We also tested the feeder using the manual feed option when we were away from home and there were no connection issues. I can say this feeder is a good value and quality is good. Since it has only been a few days we hope it will last for a long time without having any problems.Update October 13:Unit continues to work great dispensing dry food with no wifi connection issues when we are away from home.Update December 7:Feeder still works amazing. Still no connectivity issues. Gives me comfort knowing I can feed kitty when traveling. The auto feed and manual feed still works great. Neighborhood hulk raccoon showed up recently and tried to open canister but was unsuccessful. For added security I added small pieces of tape to lid but the Velcro alone works fine.

Haven’t had any connection issues. It is a sleek design, food stays fresh, and pretty user friendly. Holds enough food that I don’t have to refill too often. Happy with the price as well!
4.0 out of 5 stars Update: Great feeder for the price
After talking to the manufacturer, I’m updating my review. I’m going from 3 stars to 4 stars. I’ll explain why I can’t go to 5 stars though. First and foremost, they have great customer service. Very responsive and helpful. So don’t worry about that, you’re in good hands if you buy this product. After using it for about 1 month I can say that overall it’s a very good feeder, especially when you consider all the features included at this price point (which is much lower than most competitors). The camera quality is quite good. Night vision too. Motion detection works great. The app is functional and fairly easy to figure out after you play with it a little bit. The feeder is well-built and holds a decent amount of food, and the rotating mechanism that dispenses the food never binded up. It worked every time. So that was great! My original reason for giving it 3 stars was that, in my opinion, one big drawback was the fact that the camera is positioned to view straight out from the feeder. The means that you can’t see the bowl. So you can’t see how much your pet is eating, and this was important for me. I wanted to monitor that. However, depending on how/why you are using this feeder, and your pet’s eating habits, that might not be as critical for you. If it’s not, then the wide field of view of the room would be beneficial for you. If that’s the case then this is probably even a 5-Star feeder for you. So it just depends on what you need. It should be noted that most of the feeders on Bolo are similar to this and don’t show the feed bowl. Some do, but most don’t. And the ones that do sacrifice overall view of the room obviously. So you kinda get one or the other, lol. But for the price, as long as the camera position doesn’t bother you, this feeder can’t be beat. I also want to note that during my discussions with the manufacturer, they mentioned they have another model coming out (or maybe it’s already out) that does have a camera angled so that you can see the bowl. So you will have both options.

Almost too great, though, because now my fat cat sits and stares at this all night, just willing it to give him more. The intent was for him to lose weight by having portioned food, but he gets less exercise now just watching it all night. lolHe’s a smart cat, but has not been able to break into it for more food, so that’s a win in my book.

I like to wait at lease a week before doing reviews, on products. This feeder gets “Would buy again” rating. The hardest part about using it was finding the feeder in the app. “Warning It only works with 2.4 Wifi”. Nice features, first it can be set to server different portion size. I have a small cat so this is handy. I currently have it set to serving 4 times daily. Has an option to send a message each time the feeder dispenses food. A nice feature is the on-demand remote feed option. The hopper holds about 1 1/2lbs of dry food or about ½ bag of catfood. In my case that will feed the cat for about a week. The hopper has a strap, to keep the cat from raiding the hopper.The unit has battery backup, which in my case has been needed a couple times so far.The bottom-line is would I buy this product again and the answer is yes, good value for the price.

I received these feeders a couple months ago, at first they worked like a charm and I had the ease of feeding my cats on a daily schedule since I’m not on a set schedule at work, it’s hard to keep a consistent schedule for my fur babies.The other day I went to tip up the feeder, as one of my cats tips it over when her food is out and she’s hungry, (the security velcro worked well for this issue), and I was shocked by the feeder, (not a light shock either) and I was not touching the connection point. I noticed there was food in her bowl. Out of fear that she was shocked and thats what caused the feeder to tip this time, I trashed both of the automatic feeders. This was just my experience, it could be some sort of manufacturing defect, but I no longer trust automatic feeders anymore.
Great for the price
Easy set up, works well, cleans easily. Love the ability to control from my cell phone. Highly recommend 👌
Not worth the money
Bought it to use outdoors and was hoping to be able to use batteries but doesn’t work properly, seems to drain 2 out of the 4 batteries within a days so loses Wi-Fi connecting and timing therefore is useless if you don’t have it plugged in at all times.

UPDATE:The new feeder Papifeed sent arrived, and I am in love! My cats are loving it, too. The set up was easy (literally I thought “wait that’s it?” during set up), and it works seamlessly with Alexa and my Echo devices! Holds a lot of food for the size, and it is quiet too! 100/10 recommend this product AND Papifeed!So my package which had this in it was stolen off of my front step before I had gotten home (big sad), and I was bummed. Then I saw Papifeed had messaged me inquiring about the refund (Bolo issued one) and if I had any suggestions about making their products better (that alone impressed me). After explaining my situation, I was immediately given an email to contact regarding my ordeal. After a couple emails, Papifeed already has one shipping to my house. For one, what an incredible seller. For two, the product must be good if they didn’t want me missing out on it. Overall, though my package was stolen, Papifeed made my experience 10/10!I will update once the pet feeder arrives, with the real product review 🤩 (4/5 stars because I don’t have the actual product yet).
Alimentador programable funcional.
La capacidad es bastante buena para mis dos gatitas. Aunque la programación con la App de Smart life fue simple, la vinculación con dispositivos Alexa fue más complicada de lo que esperaba. Tuve que ver varios tutorials en YouTube para aprender a usarlo al 100 con Alexa. La atención a clientes de maravilla, todo el tiempo se ofrecieron a ayudarme y me mistraron varias alternativas para lograr la conexión (aunque al final fui yo quien dio con la solución)Ya compre un segundo alimentador.
Pretty dang good!
I got this for my cat as they were waking me up very early in the morning demanding breakfast. It has been very nice to sleep in, as this feeder takes care of his breakfast for me! No issues setting it up, the app is very nice and easy to use, I havent had any issues!It can be a little tricky finding a good portion size (my cat is on a diet) 1 portion seems too small, 2 seems like a lot! But I feel I'll figure it out over time.
