I have a one year old and the locks work to keep her out of the cabinets. Unfortunately she still likes to pull at them as they are on the outside of the doors. They work very well. I hope that there would be an option for inside the doors so that they won't be seen.

We keep their dry food in this lovely steel farmhouse-style container, but in spite of the tight-fitting lid, they were able to break into it on the first night.I immediately thought of getting this type of child lock — we used them on the cabinets at the daycare I used to work at (read: I already know how to open them with my dumb adult fingers).Lo and behold, they work fantastically. They are small and don’t get in the way aesthetically at all IMHO, inexpensive, versatile, and “complex” enough to keep the cats out of their kibble tub & push-to-open IKEA cabinet in which we keep their wet food (until they use teamwork to beat the system again). They’re strong enough that I can lift the tub up by the handle with 13lbs of food inside and the locks hold just fine.Recommended!

First, installation is super easy. Peel off the sticker cover and stick to the wiped down surface. The product even containers little swabs to wipe down the area before application. The product is easy to adjust to the correct length needed which is a plus as well. The actually sticky pad will not budge with a child yanking on it. My child has tried numerous times and couldn’t make it budge. I even tried and it didn’t budge. Very durable. It looks good too, as it is sleek in design. Easy to open and reattach and could be done with one hand. My advice to you is to make sure you’re installing the product level/straight, as instructed. I tried to be slick ans install on an angle, where the strap wrapped around my drawer a little and unfortunately the product is so durable I could not put back the clip. That was totally a user error. Also, when trying to remove the product when I messed up I learned those sticky pads are STRONG. you will need a hair dryer and floss to remove these. All that being said - very very durable product and gives me peace that my child won’t get into these cabinets.

excelentes, sobre todo para los gabinetes en donde se guardan cosas de vidrio ó artículos para la limpieza. Lo que no sé es si dejan marca al momento de ya no necesitarlo . mis puertas son de madera.
