Love this stand.I ordered this specifically for the wide stance. You can put a giant drain pan under it flat on the ground so when you spin the engine over and it dumps all the fluids. No mess on the floor. Ive used it for aluminum v8s and it has a cast iron big block on it now with now issues.Also has a handy little tray for hardware that swings to both sides. Wish it was foldable though. Takes up alot of corner space.Worth the money.

if your reading this review... 1. your most likely pissed off because your buying it to do a big motor job.you most likely aren't rebuilding a fancy sports car. 2. you've already looked at the shipment date to see how soon it will arrive. 3. the lift is down and engine stand is not there yet. 4. swear words have already been spoken. 5. your other engine stand already has a motor on it and its in no way ready to come off the stand. 6. go ahead and swear a few more times and press "buy now" because if you dont need it today you know you will need it soon. hope this makes you smile because its all true.

The base design is very stable. Sturdy and all well constructed. However the swivel pin is very short and has lots of play…so if engine is not perfectly balanced the pin feels a little sketchy. Grade 8.8 hardware is solid. Instructions need careful review before and during assembly.

Handled the weight of a big block ford 390 with no issues. The swivel tray came in handy it’s a nice touch. It’s arrived well packed and it’s heavy but easily assembled. I was able to roll engine around on uneven concrete without feeling like it would fall over.

Won’t fit under cherry picker to be able to mount up with engine. 100% don’t recommend. Welds are garbage.
