Bacteria can multiply in a spa that isn't well-maintained due to the dark, humid environment. The All-in-One Sanitizer & Shock fast-dissolving formula will destroy contaminants and clear cloudy water. Test your spa water frequently to maintain a pH balance of 7.2-7.6 and alkalinity of 80-125 ppm for plaster spas and 125-150 for all other surfaces.

I've found that the Clorox brand for spa treatment(s) is much more cost effective than almost ANY other brand out there. That being said, I've found some don't perform as well as the others. I have found that I need more of this product, when compared to the product I have been using previously. Overall, it does work and is less expensive.
