Mad Eye Moody Lego figure for size reference.Tiny gnome for fun.These little music boxes are fun projects to put together. Instructions and screwdrivers for each mini project are included, though the language appears to be mistranslated on a few steps. Three music-making components are included with the supplies, each playing a different tune.The harp is the easiest to put together, as long as extra care is taken when punching out the "strings." The piano pedals stuck more strongly on one side and tore/cracked slightly, so I may need to glue them soon, but that was only a slight mishap. The horn on the gramophone took the longest to put together (24 pieces!) and needed to have a broken piece glued, but it makes a nice conversation piece. They all do.The hand-crank music boxes look great in their unshaded light wood, but I decided to get out my colored pencils, markers and pens, and color them to my liking.

The screws do not fit. They are not long enough to attach the music mechanism to the wood.

These three musical puzzles weren’t very easy to put together - the harp strings are very delicate and the gramophone has 24 pieces - so I wouldn’t really recommend this as an activity for younger family members. Also, the screws meant to attach the musical thing to the wood weren’t the best. However, once the three pieces were assembled, I really loved their cuteness and functionality. They’re really something special.

this was a really fun family activity. you do need to practice some patience to get all the pieces out without breaking them, and we did end up using some glue to secure the music box mechanisms at points because the screws didn't really work well, but for the price it was a fun activity that resulted in cute little trinkets for our kids to keep.
