For me the initial scent is very powerful. I love the scent and am super glad I don’t have to put my nose up to it, to be able to smell it . But I’m almost ready for it to dissipate a little bit haha. I’m a bit sensitive to strong aroma so I should’ve only tipped the oil into the lid for a brief second.. I tipped it for probably 3-4 seconds. So just a heads up, you don’t need much oil to get enough scent to fill your car.

I loved the smell. I had it hanging for 2 weeks. I come out to my car this morning to see it dripped on the front of my display screen and lower under the screen. I went to wipe it up and realized that it had melted the plastic and took the paint off. To repair the radio, it going to be expensive, I can’t just replace the plastic, the whole radio needs to be replaced.

It is a very cute car freshener and it smells great! It does smell exactly like the sol de Janeiro 68 perfume! BUT it does not last long at all, I still have plenty let over but the car scent is just not powerful at all. I like my car smelling amazing but I can barely smell this scent which is very sad because it does smell really good. It was a good price for getting two of them.

I purchased this product after seeing it on TikTok. It definitely smells like Rio body spray…however I can’t smell it in my car like the old fashioned tree air fresheners. I put both of the bottles in my car as directed and I can’t smell it when I enter my car. I even turn it upside down and I don’t smell anything. I think if they sold it like a tree air freshener then I would repurchase. But I think I wasted my money with the oils.

We got a new (used) car, and I wanted to find a freshener similar to the scent that greeted us when we first got it. This is it! The directions say not to place it in direct sunlight, so rather than attach it to the rearview mirror, we hung it from the glovebox handle by clamping the strands on each side. We have had no problems and delight in the scent as we climb into the car. It smells nice and new. These two bottles will probably last us a year or more!

When I enter my vehicle I wantTo smell the fragrance and I don’t. I only smell it if I put my nose to it, defeats purpose of having a car freshener. I did pour it to the top of cap and I see that it is covered in oil but it does not emit fragrance into car. Maybe a diff. choice of smells. I chose the pistachio carmel like sol de janeiros body spray. It does smell amazing but only when I stick my nose to it do I smell it unfortunately.
