5.0 out of 5 stars Workhorse Of Sport Watches!
Vertex 2s holds up as the workhorse for my weekly average 125 mile cycling and 20 to 25 mile runs. Battery will last me up to 19 days without a charge in this environment and consistent wear on left wrist. Heart Rate, HRV, & Resting Heart Rate report can be breaken down by; weekly, monthly, year and provided to my doctor who likes this information. Customized your own watchfaces, see picture above, that includes workout screens and customized navigational maps for every turn by turn in completing that extra mile for training. Music is easily added from my extensive album/CD collection that has been converted to MP3 via Auidacity or my Bolo MP3 purchases. Only negative feedback I have to Coros is to drown the watch weight from 70 grams to 60 grams.
5.0 out of 5 stars Finally the one that I was looking for!
It's an excellent choice if you prioritize adventure GPS watch features over smartphone capabilities. The Coros Vertix 2S boasts superior build quality compared to Garmin or Apple watches and offers the longest battery life among its competitors. I'm really impressed!
4.0 out of 5 stars Not as multi user as garmin
Good looking, amazing battery life, well constructed. On garmin, you could go directly to GPS, heart rate, altimeter, barometer etc. The coros only aloud you to get there trough sports specialties.Excelent for training and track results. Not as good as a daily watch to get data independent from sports.
5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible Watch That Goes, and Goes, and Goes...
Bottom line up front: don't hesitate in buying this watch, you won't regret it.I've spent the last five weeks putting the COROS Vertix 2S through its paces. As a triathlete with a CrossFit problem, here's what keeps me coming back:1. Five weeks on and I still have not yet needed to charge it! FIVE WEEKS. The watch is currently sitting at 12% (having arrived at something less than 100%, I can't remember the actual number). And this is with heavy use, running, walking, cycling, swimming, CrossFit, rowing, various multi-sports, etc.2. It nails the basics. GPS is dead accurate, especially in Dual Frequency mode. On board optical HR is great. Pace, distance, etc. is always spot on. Native running power aligns very neatly with external sources. And, the MIP screen is so easy to read outdoors in sunlight (backlight or Night Mode are awesome tools in the dark).3. It plays nicely with all my countless external sensors (yeah, I have too many). Anything with a BLE connection works just fine. Multiple heart rate monitors (though the COROS armband easily leads the pack), indoor smart cycling trainers, cycling power meters, speed/cadence sensors, Stryd running power meter, indoor rowers, wireless headphones, you name it!4. This thing just looks gorgeous on your wrist. All the details are right. I have zero hesitation wearing this thing in a professional environment and then straight out into training. Sure, it's big. But it's remarkably light for the size. And, with that size you get ridiculous battery, more screen real estate (bigger numbers or more data fields, your choice), and an indestructible watch. Importantly, it's never felt too big, whether out and about or during activity.5. I've used most all the big GPS watch brands at some point and COROS keeps me coming back because of their constant innovation with feature sets and their pattern of updating even old devices with new stuff. You can be sure the same Vertix 2S a year or two from now will have even more capabilities.6. And, lastly, the COROS app and Training Hub are so much easier to use, navigate, and understand than their competition. More data is more readily available and all while providing excellent tools to help you train (structured workouts, training plans, data analysis, and so much more).Zero regrets on this purchase. I strongly recommend the COROS Vertix 2S to anyone who asks.
3.0 out of 5 stars Good Fitness Tracker, Underwhelming Smartwatch
If you want a watch to function primarily as a fitness tracker and are not too concerned with the ability to respond to messages, sync with your calendar, control your music, or display weather information on the watch face, then the Vertex 2S is a good bet. It is very comfortable by any standards, not just for big watches. The maps and navigation are intuitive and extremely fun to play with on a hike. I prefer the MIP display over AMOLED because it is detailed enough and nets a lot of battery life. The blue colorway grew on me over time, but I still feel it is a bit too monotone; a little contrast would have gone a long way.I did not do any controlled comparisons of the health metrics to other devices, but the numbers seem reasonable. One thing that stood out to me was when weight training with the watch paired to Coros's armband heart rate monitor, there were a few instances where the system did not record any data (see screenshot). Before picking up the Vertex 2S, I used that same armband with my old T-Rex 2 for months and never encountered missed reads like that. After about a week and a half, I think I'm going back to my T-Rex 2. It may not have a great biosensor and does not have the same mapping capabilities, but it tracks workouts fine when paired with an external heart rate sensor, has comparable GPS accuracy to the Vertex 2S (though it takes a bit longer to find the signal), is a much better smartwatch in a non-exercise context, and costs $500 less.
5.0 out of 5 stars Indestructible
This is a long overdue review for the Coros vertex I’ve been using for 4 years. No matter how rough I was with it, it still looks and works like brand new. Not a scratch. It works well all over the world both on dry land and on water. The high altitude feature was awesome. I have Garmin, FitBit, and Apple Watch. This is undoubtedly my favourite. Plus, it’s the most stylish 😍. I highly recommend this.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Device, Amazing Accuracy, Can't Beat The Battery Life
I've been a long time coros user, and was looking to upgrade from my original Vertix, really love the battery life, and I'm finding the new HR sensor to be very accurate. Likewise, the new updated GPS antenna seems to be dead on. I've used this for everything from family walks, to climbing trips, and run and bike workouts. The new health features, sleep tracking, HRV, and stress and also quite insightful. I love how I can trust coros to keep bringing new features to existing devises for years. Really happy with this!
Au top
Facile d utilisationBonne qualité
Frustrating and full of bugs
'incompatible' with VPN - they don't write that in the advert! Phone software full of bugs, eg refresh connection three times to sync with my phone in the morning. Four months in can't get a vo2 max reading. Won't sync with 'evometrics' software with or without VPN. Want a refund! Won't buy again, feeling short changed.
Relojazo
