I was stunned when I received this keyboard and began typing on it. This is my first experience with this genre of board (the whole, thocky, custom thing), but I really like this as a sort of mid-way. There's still a distinct click and plastic sound of the keycaps hitting the board, but it's got a sound that I can almost relate to like, a lego-tone, or pebbles being re-arranged. It's really pleasing, and the switches themselves glide wonderfully when you're typing. I really like the design, being a 90s kid with a love for beige tech, though the font on the keys is pretty awfully inconsistent, the only bummer there. The board comes with a tool to remove keycaps and switches, which is a nice touch, and the lighting modes are rather diverse and pretty, if a little fiddly to get through without any software.

I love this keyboard so much, it has the greatest look, greatest touching feel. Greatest keyboard for gaming and coding. Touches are soft and quiet and firm. Think it boosts my move in the game. Highly recommend! :D

I haven't been in the hobby very long, but I have been enjoying using mechanical keyboards. This one looked pretty cool, plus had the ability to be connected via Bluetooth, 2.4ghz wireless, or a USB cord. It also is hotswap so you can change the keyboard switches out if you want. Full RGB Spectrum is awesome too. Overally, I think this is a very solid choice for someone just getting started in the hobby and doesn't want to go whole hog building their own keyboard yet.The things I am not a big fan of, the style of keycaps just isn't it. I know they were going for a retro gaming style scheme with this, but I'm just not that impressed. I've seen way cooler retro schemes. The other downside for me is that to get full control over the keyboard, as far as I can tell, you need to install their proprietary software to add things like lighting effects, macros, key remapping etc...but again, I'm pretty new to the hobby, so there may be a way to use some open source software for this.The included switches don't see to always register if I use a light touch when typing on the keys. This can result in missing keystrokes. I'm not sure if changing the switches would help this, but if you are a heavy typer, you should be fine. Hitting the keys very firmly never seems to have this problem. The keyboard isn't too loud, but it's pretty loud.

The media could not be loaded. This is one of the best-sounding keyboards I have acquired lately. Don’t let the plastic construction deter you from getting this awesome board. The quality of the construction is great, and the typing experience is fantastic. The board is made of thick plastic and has some weight to it. The three connection modes work great, and the board has a slot for storing the 2.4g dongle. The 2.4g connection is very responsive, as is the wired connection. The Bluetooth connection is good too; I get some lags, but that could be due to my computer’s Bluetooth receiver, which is not very good. I like the fact that there is a switch on the left side for changing connections and not some key combinations for doing this.This board doesn’t have any flex, even though the company claims that it has a gasket design, but I feel that the typing experience is smooth and comfortable, nonetheless. The layout is perfect for people who use number keys frequently and the best part is that it doesn’t take up much space on the desk. The retro keys are a little boring, but that can be changed easily. I opted for the Peace Lily switches, and they sound amazing. The sound is loud and will bother people who don’t like loud keyboard sounds, but that can be changed easily because the board is hot-swappable. The actuation force is great and allows for a fast-typing experience without many errors. Also, the keyboard has great ergonomics, which helps with the typing experience. The stabs are great lubed as always.Overall, Epomaker keyboards are the best on the market. They always provide good construction quality and good typing experience at an affordable price. You can never go wrong with any of the Epomaker keyboard offerings.

It has many features and the more I use it the more it exceeds my typing experience. It is everything I wanted and much more. I will list down why I'm beyond amazed by this exceptional keyboard and its array of features.Build and Quality: The keyboard is made of premium hard plastic that is sturdy and durable and doesn’t feel cheap. The design is of a retro keyboard with RGB backlight giving it a modern gamer look. Thus it can be used by both enthusiasts in gaming or professional work. The keyboard has some weight to it, so it feels like quality hard plastic material, due to which it has no flex. After having used this keyboard, I can finally understand what the hype is about in these mechanical keyboards and why people swear by them. Each key has a satisfying resistance with great sound when pressed. Overall, there are no complaints about the design or quality of this keyboard.Functionality: The mechanical keyboard has hot-swappable keys. This is great for someone wanting to customize their keyboard to their liking. I’m not an expert enthusiast so I lack expertise in this department but the cherry switches these keyboards are preinstalled with feel and sound great.RGB: I was going to add this to the functionality portion of this review but with how amazing the RGB lighting is in this keyboard, I wanted to dedicate a section to talk about just that. The RGB is the best I have seen on a keyboard. I have been using an Alienware Laptop so already have experienced great RGB, but this keyboard puts that to shame. With the smoothness of the RGB lighting and effects, this keyboard is capable, of enhancing your visual experience. The lights have seamless transitions without exposing any individual LED, unlike the ones on cheap RGB keyboards. You truly have to see it to experience it.Connectivity: This keyboard offers all connectivity options. You can have a wired, 2.4G USB or Bluetooth connection. This is great for anyone's personal preference. If you’re an elite-level gamer then the wired or USB connection can help save you a couple of milliseconds latency. If you're someone like me and just need a simple Bluetooth connection for a seamless experience then it has that too.My Experience: My experience has exceeded my expectations. The more I use this keyboard the more I appreciate it. This review I am typing is on this keyboard.Conclusion: Before experiencing the comfort and satisfaction of a quality mechanical keyboard, I assumed it was overrated, but now I understand why. This keyboard has truly spoiled me to a point where now I won't be going back to portable laptop keyboards. For me, this keyboard is perfect and there is nothing I could suggest that requires improvement. Highly recommend it.

ch bin absolut Schockverliebt in die EPOMAKER EK98, das Tippgefühl, die Haptik, der Klang... Es ist alles auf einem ganz anderen Level als man es von Razer, Corsair und soweiter zu kennen meint.Das kann man garnicht gescheit in Worte fassen, diese Tastatur macht fast alles nicht nur richtig, sie legt dabei sogar noch eine ganze Schippe drauf, wenn es da nicht so ein paar kleinere Macken gäbe:Man bekommt mit der EPOMAKER EK98 eine 98% Tastatur. Diese kommt mit dem ANSI-US Layout (gibt es auch nur als solche, nur GANZ wenige EPOMAKER Tastaturen bieten als option ein ANSI/ISO-DE Design überhaupt an.). Will ich auch nicht negativ bewerten, wer interesse an EPOMAKER Tastaturen hat weiß sowas in der Regel eigentlich schon - möchte es aber dennoch erwähnt haben da entsprechende austausch keycaps im ANSI-DE Layout ziemlich rar gesäht sind, und wenn verfügbar dann ziemlich teuer.Mich holt diese Tastatur vollkommen ab. Ich kann da garnicht anders als die vollen 5 Sterne zu geben.
