5.0 out of 5 stars Realize this is rated for 90lbs and you won't be disappointed.
I bought 2 of these shelving units to use in my pantry. Each shelf is rated at 90lb capacity. They came very well packed with no damage to them at all. They have a nice chrome finish to them and I ordered the Frienda 21.26 x 11.41 shelf liners (they fit perfectly) for them so smaller items would sit upright and wouldn't fall through.Assembly was a breeze, though I would suggest planning ahead and determining at what heights you want to place each shelf because although it's definitely do-able, it's sort of a pain to adjust a shelf height once the unit is assembled.I also bought 2 other shelving units from other vendors. One is rated at 250lbs/shelf, and the other is rated at 600lbs/shelf.I didn't specifically intend to buy shelves of different capacities, as I was focused on and limited by dimensions that would fit into my pantry space. In the end though, I'm actually happy that I ended up with shelves of different weight allowances. The side-by-side comparison of the 3 weight capacity units is very apparent and obvious. The posts of these 90lb units are about 5/8" vs 1" posts of the 250lb & 600lb shelving units. The weight and rigidity of the shelves are clearly different as well. There's no way I could bend any part of the 600lb shelf - - - even using hand tools. The slats of the 250lb shelf could be bent using hand tools. The slats of the 90lb shelf could be bent by hand (not too easily though). That being said, there's no way I need every single shelf in my pantry to hold 250 or 600 lbs.I am using the heftiest of shelves for my mixer, crock pot, other heavy small appliances, cases of beverages and dog food. Nothing I'm storing on any of the shelves even comes close to needing either 250# or 600# ratings but since I have them, that's where I'm putting these heavier items.I'd say for everything in my pantry, these 90lb shelving units are perfectly sufficient and just perfect. They are plenty strong enough for canned goods and even Costco size jugs of vinegars and oils.I'd not suggest using these in a garage or workroom to store tools or 5gal buckets of paint, but in a pantry, linen closet or for other household storage purposes, these are very sufficient.Very, very happy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Exceeds My Expectations:)
There is nothing not to love about this shelf! It's perfect. Looks nice, stable, holds everything that I needed it for, was pretty easy to assemble & move by sliding carefully, and I feel that I got a great value for the price. I'm hoping that it lasts for a very long time, & I think that it will.
4.0 out of 5 stars Contents caution
This seems like a pretty sturdy shelf system that was not too bad to assemble once we figured out the parts. It alludes to a packing list but there was none in either of the shelves we bought. It comes with three packages of bundled leg sections, causing you to think they have forgotten one of the packages of legs. However, each leg has only 3 sections so the 3 packages of 4 sections is a complete set. We have the 5 shelf version and it's holding canned goods pretty well. However, anyone with small children will definitely want to anchor the top of the shelving to the wall behind it because it does seem a little tippy even with heavy things on the bottom shelf.
5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy
Great for basement storage.
3.0 out of 5 stars Needs work
The shelf was difficult to put together for just one person. The directions do say that two people are needed, and I tried on my own. I should have listened to the directions. At any rate, the tabs that you have to attach for the individual shelves to rest on do not snap into any holes, therefore they come off too easily while trying to put it together. This also causes the shelves to slide down the poles with not very much weight on them. The snaps do not stay up so the shelves slide.
5.0 out of 5 stars Organizes and holds so much!
My laundry room has always looked like a bomb hit it, having no storage to hold anything! So, I pretty much had everything piled into plastic totes and other misc boxes. The pop was on the floor, bottles of bleach and laundry soap were on the floor, etc…it was just awful. This shelf unit is wide and has 4 adjustable shelves. I was able to put everything on it with room to spare. I regret not doing this sooner. What an improvement. Everything organized and within reach. The room looks bigger and cleaner! Great purchase! I plan to get a couple more for the garage and for a spare room. The price was reasonable for the size and quality. I’m very happy. My husband assembled it. It requires no tools. It took him about a half hour to put it together.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect size
Perfect size for my utility closet. Put it together by myself. Has extra parts so it can be made into 2 separate units (a 2 shelf and a 3 shelf) if needed. I would purchase again.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very sturdy and easy to assemble
Took me 15 minutes to assemble it, by far the easiest as compared to all the furnitures I bought on Bolo.
