Best cooler & more costly than the others I have used with an app to boot. You need the app to control it especially the fan. I measured-2 Celsius to +2 Celsius all around which is the most consistent readings I have tested. I was disappointed there was no magnetic sheet for non magnetic devices especially since the cost is higher than most coolers. The fact that it was shrink wrapped was comforting since others seem to be open box units with missing parts. I recommend this one highly for the most important features in a cooler.

For Android users keep in mind that though this cooler works right out of the box, you need to have the black shark arsenal app in order to change the light patterns and colors. Unfortunately this app isn't found on the Play store (or at least I haven't seen it) therefore I had to use my dad's iPhone to get the app on iOS and connect to this cooler separately in order to place the initial settings. Do know right out of the box that this cooler will work by the default by a simple power button. With the button you can click it to change the fan speed (silent, smart, overclock) and hold it to turn it off and on. However there is no manual button to change the color or light pattern. On top of that the light is on by default and can't be turned off unless you use the app.Also keep in mind that you'll want to use the actual cord that comes with this cooler. I first used my USBc cord I already had plugged in on my desk, and for some reason this cooler turned on and off intermittently. When I use the actual cord in the package it stayed on indefinitely. Therefore I assume that you need a particular USBc cord with enough amperage to keep this cooler powered.Despite the limited availability of the app for Android, I was really astonished just how cool this thing actually started to go within one minute of turning it on. It literally gets as cold as a iced soda! The extendable brackets that are on the cooler also have tiny, rigid rubber bumpers on them so that way you're not going to scratch your phone. I currently use a Red Magic's 6s pro and and the cooler fits just nicely around the center. I also appreciate how they strategically placed the plug on the upper/lower portion of the cooler so that way when you control your phone the cord won't get in the way. However, do know that though this cooler works excellently, the extra weight is very noticeable (especially when you're laying on your back and holding it up over your chest).Overall, this device works as expected and I'm astonished just how much chill this cooler can bring. If this thing could have been battery powered and the app available on the Play store, I would have given this a perfect score.

In both the literal and metaphorical sense. This guy gets super cold, super fast, keeps your phone cool when you're an idiot like me and lets games autorun their stages for hours at the time. I haven't tried to use it for streaming, but that's when this thing is going to shine, I imagine, since mobile streaming software overheats phones like crazy.The cooler is magnetic, but also includes clips for phones that don't have magnets on them. Really handy. It's a little loud when you have the settings on max, but the fan is blasting. It's going to make some noise.Cooler comes with an app, and the app has pretty intuitive controls for temperature and the RGB. It's easy to set up and even easier to use.The cooler does need to be plugged in to work and does not have an internal battery which is a bit frustrating, but it is what it is. That's honestly my only con and the pros far outweigh that one one.

Using this while playing Pokemon and it works really well. Keeps the phone cool during long game plays. And is silent and has 3 fan speeds.

Especially in the summer my phone overheats everywhere we go! This has been a huge help! It's a little bulkier than I expected, but that sure beats having to buy a new phone if mine fries!Update: ONLY WORKS WHILE PLUGGED IN! Up to now I had only used it in my vehicle while driving. Yesterday for the first time, I took it to a barbecue and it although I had 'charged' it overnight it wouldn't even turn on.
Worth it
This is the best! it actually went down to 30°C after i took the picture. from 42 - 30 degrees within 30min.tried playing in max settings which always put my phone on fire, and causes frame drop, but thanks to this my phone keeps its cool and no frame drop 🥳Always have been a fan of black shark and will always be. ❤️

Very impressed.
Wasn’t sure how well this would work but I’m very impressed with the cooling performance. Normally after just a few minutes of gaming my phone becomes too hot to touch but this keeps it cool. A must have if you enjoy long gaming sessions on phone.
