5.0 out of 5 stars Car engine wires chewed
Hoping this solves the problem...
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Protection for My Car’s Wiring
I was constantly dealing with rodents chewing on the wires under my car’s hood, but this rodent repellent cream solved the problem completely! I applied the cream around the wires, and since then, I haven’t seen any signs of chewing or nesting. It’s easy to apply, and the best part is that it keeps my car’s wiring safe without needing to check constantly.
1.0 out of 5 stars did not work for me
When I got these I went to put them in one of my hot rods and 1 was totally dry with no smell at all , the other the smell didn't even last 2 days before it wasn't even delectable at all and mice had pooped all around it and I caught a mouse in a trap placed not 10 " away from that one the second day. So basically it lasted over night or at best a day and a half only.I'm not sure if I have "mighty Mouse's " off spring up here in the mountains where I live , but they just did not work and that is NOT a good thing to have happen when you own a $60K hot rod .
5.0 out of 5 stars Love this stuff!
It really works. I had this problem for first time ever. Bought it due to reviews. Put it in trunk where I had problem. Solved instantly. If you live close to woods it's a must. I put it under my sink too, just in case. Plus, it never smells overpowering. Buying it again.
5.0 out of 5 stars Scent is very pleasant & non-toxic
I had a rat living under my back stairs, a little too close to my house for my liking. I didn't want to kill him so I was looking for a non-toxic option. I put peppermint dichotomous earth outside that seems to have made him abandon his home under my stairs. I see him on my Ring camera still coming to eat the bird food but doesn't even look twice at my stairs anymore & keeps going. I had mouse droppings under my sink so I put this tin under there. Very pleasant scent. I notice the wintergreen seems to be the strongest. I was hesitant to put it under the hood so I was reading reviews for suggestions. Seems a lot of people were apprehensive about that. I realized that I hadn't removed the plastic under the lid of the tin. I barely touched the tin I placed under my sink when I was going to remove that plastic & it fell off. That sealed the deal on me not putting it under my hood. I put it under my dash near the steering wheel. I can actually smell it when I approach the car so I think it will keep the rodents at bay.. I haven't had any issues with them in my car & haven't seen any droppings under my sink. My cats like to sleep under the sink so I definitely wanted something non toxic in their presence. Scent is very nice for kitchen & car.
3.0 out of 5 stars too expensive
It has strong peppermint spell but it last about a week or so ... evaporates too fast and you need to replace it after about a week or so. Its too expensive , I can't afford to buy them on regular bases to keep rats away
4.0 out of 5 stars Keep the mice away
We have these under the hood in our car and truck , plus our golf cart. We have discovered mice do not like peppermint. So we refill them with liquid. They do dry out pretty quickly.
5.0 out of 5 stars Bought for the shed to help discourage rodents
I'm giving 5 stars because I haven't seen any rodent activity, which is great, but I haven't really had them out for very long, so waiting to see how effective they are for a longer period of time.
