Ok first of all there is little to no fall-out which is a huge deal to me, but then how it wears on the skin… it totally melts in and leaves a velvety finish. I am very fair so I ordered the pink one and I love the shades. The bronzer is not too warm or too dark for my skin tone. I have no complaints and despite the price I honestly feel it was worth it.

I heard of Halo and when this was offered I jumped at the chance. I chose the Back to Cali set as I am a more subdued and earth-tone kind of person. Here are the highlights and lowlights of this item.Good:1. good shades and they complement each other nicely.2. good amount of each one, so I am sure it will last a while for my uses3. small and narrow enough to make it easy to carry and use while out and about4 smooth application, for easy useBad:1. came in large box and was rattled around. so I am glad it was not broken2. opening it is not hard. Keeping it open is. the hindge makes it so you need dexterity to keep the mirror portion open, or it will close on you quickly.3. did not come with applicator or anything. A little something would have made it feel more premium.So with that said. I am glad I got this and look forward to the days I can use it (office, trips, etc) as the colors are very light and give a fresh look without looking like I spent hours getting it applied.

I have really enjoyed this makeup. It gives you visual instructions on how to contour your face. I would buy it again!

For brown girls, the blush and bronzer isn't very pigmented. Definitely will have to build the product up. The highlighter is nice and pigmented and pops on my skin. The formula is powdery. If it was more velvety or mousse like, it would pop more. But the colors are pretty.

I ordered the "Coral Saturation" palette and I feel it compliments my medium tan skin tone really well. I actually use it as my go-to quick makeup. It works as an eyeshadow and is pigmented on it's own but more so with a base. Stays on all day and the highlighter is really pretty and vibrant. Good sized as it's lasted already 3 months and I've barely used much.

I have loved smashbox palettes since the eyeshadow ones came out all those years ago. Now however I really don't wear much makeup and don't need 20 different shades. I love that this palette is very simple and has everything that you need in large pans so you won't run out fast. The colors are very buildable and natural looking on my skin. They have great pigment and are overall great choices for each type. I like the lighter blush better than the darker shade, but the contour color is great and the highlighter is nice and shimmery without being sparkly or looking cheap. Overall good value palette for everyday.

This goes on so effortlessly. It’s light and feels great, like it’s not even there. It’s so soft and feels so smooth on. The colors seem to match very well. (Better than expected.) The shimmer is so pretty but does get over anything that it touches so a setting spray would probably help if that is a concern. I’m impressed all around. I think the set is worth the value.
