5.0 out of 5 stars Sounds Amazing
I absolutely love this keyboard! The ability to customize everything and put whatever I want on the screen is amazing
5.0 out of 5 stars Instructions not great and software must be found and installed
Great keyboard but should come with software included. Very nice look and feel. Triple connectivity great.
4.0 out of 5 stars Nice to type on and built well, but configuration could use some work
This keyboard is overall very nice to type on. The switches are Ajazz's own "Maillard" brown and cream-colored linear type, although I couldn't find any information on them aside from what's in the listing. They're very smooth, though, and actuation force is on the light side. Keycaps are perfectly shaped and textured, being doubleshot PBT.The case also feels nice, and does a good job of damping typing noise. It's very solid feeling, although if you grab the keyboard on each end, there's some significant twist.Keyboard shortcuts for changing RGB lighting settings are a bit confusing, and the manual's wording is honestly not the best. I was eventually able to figure it out, and thankfully there's one single key which immediately shuts off all RGB lighting (Fn+X.) Using the computer software helps a lot, and it also provides easy remapping. It's not quite as good as VIA, but it's not far off. Changing settings with the knob on the little screen is a bit of a faff, but it does work. You do need the PC software to set the clock. You can swap the screen and knob out for three additional keys, with three switches and keycaps (Print, Scroll, Pause) included in the box. Unfortunately, this means you can't have both a knob and the print screen key, but I was able to use the software to assign it to Fn+Menu, a reasonable workaround.Since this is a hotswap board, I tried dropping in a few Gateron Blues I had laying around. No problems whatsoever, they plugged right in. A neat double-ended keycap and keyswitch puller is included. It works well, but the switch puller's jars are a bit too thick. It's difficult to get a switch out of the F-row, especially something like the Gaterons which have longer tabs.Connectivity options are a real high point. It synced up with my laptop, my phone, and a tablet on their own BT profiles instantly. Having a USB-based receiver is also great for those times you can't pair, or when the computer has no bluetooth. I want to give Ajazz a big hand for included a place to store the USB receiver in the keyboard itself, so it won't get lost. Bravo. It's a very solid keyboard that's lovely to type on, and isn't terribly difficult to customize. Build quality is certainly good, although there's some stiff competition in this price range. Some of the features do add value, but I feel some are a little gimmicky. Even so, it's not a bad price for a very good keyboard.
5.0 out of 5 stars Ajazz AK870 87 Key with a screen and a knob - Oh ya!
Try to imagine a really nice feeling popular keyboard like the Aula F87 Pro; but with an added display and knob. This is effectively what you get with the Ajazz AK870.This keyboard is not just a 87 key version of the Ajazz AK820 Pro, there are some improvements in the build quality; the case design has a more stylish 2-color border, the volume knob feels much better, the display is larger, angled, and more functional. The keycap legends include both primary and secondary functions like media keys and lighting effects.I also believe this keyboard is improved by the feel of the factory lubed KTT Hyacinth linear switches (45 gf) with 3.5 mm total travel. The switch top housing is PC, bottom housing Nylon, with a POM stem and a 21 mm long spring. This provides in a lively and responsive typing experience making it easy for me to achieve my top typing speeds. The gasket structure and foam dampening provide a satisfying sound profile, and the feel of the Cherry profile PBT keycaps is top notch. I measured the wall thickness at the thinnest section at 1.36 mm, increasing to 1.6 mm at their thickest. This also helps to improve the sound of the keyboard. The plate mounted stabilizers are nicely lubed, and dampening foam is included in the slots under the space bar. There's a nice storage dock for the 2.4 GHz dongle, along with switches to select Win/Mac operating systems and wired/wireless use modes. The TPE feet help keep the keyboard in place and there are flip out front feet providing 2 additional typing angles. The south facing LED lighting is bright and vivid and the included lighting effects can be changed with either FN+key combinations, or selecting using the display and navigation knob.I think the only negative comments I've seen on this keyboard have to do with software support for programming. Admittedly, that's not something that really ever do with my keyboards and those enthusiasts will likely be looking for a keyboard with VIA/QMK support.Another desired feature might be an aluminum case; although that would increase the cost and weight. I actually prefer to have a lighter plastic keyboard that I can bring with me in a case to work vs. toting around a heavy aluminum block.Overall, this is an attractive keyboard with a responsive feel and convenience features like a display and knob. If that's what you're looking for in a keyboard, then this is definitely worth your consideration. Highly recommended.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice keyboard with a screen and a knob
This is a somewhat unusual keyboard, and I have not used anything like it before. The keys feel very nice to type on, and a screen in the upper right corner makes adjustments very easy. The knob is very ergonomic. It does not come with the software; you have to download it, and I have not done that yet.
Impressive Quality
Hard not to be impressed with the overall quality of the MechLands Ajazz AK870. The keycaps feel great and likely are true PBT. The sizing of the keycaps also feel full which is nice for general typing use. The Maillard keys are a very smooth linear that feel well balanced and probably a bit like a slightly firmer 'red' switch which many users will probably really like. The chassis feels premium and solid. Overall, it's a nice mechanical keyboard and my only complaint would be the price point which puts this keyboard up against some excellent big-brand competition.

Love it!
Very thocky even on first use. Not a quiet keyboard, so if that bothers you I wouldn't go for this one. Works really well with lots of customisation and good software. Note that you will have to download the software and sync the clock to have the correct time displaying on the little panel.
I received a non-working keyboard.
The media could not be loaded. The box arrived damaged, and in some places, the keyboard was detached from the casing (I had to snap it back in place). When connected, it shows no signs of life, whether through USB or 2.4GHz connection—nothing works. If I did something wrong, I hope you'll correct me, but for now, this is the review I'm leaving.
Minor complaints
Overall i am satisfied with this keyboard. The buttons sounds nice, they might be a bit loud for some. The RGB lighting has many many modes and colours. The volume wheel is important to me and glad to see it here.So far battery has been good. If you used it all day for a day youll probably want to charge back up overnight.Problems? The screen gets in the way of what would otherwise be the prntscrn button which i use very often. The instructions did not seem to show how to change the date on that screen? Not sure what im missing but the preprogrammed date is wrong.I did have a couple cases of double clicks and missed clicks early on but haven't recently.
