When I think of Palmer's I think of cocoa butter. I used it during both my pregnancies on my belly and became a die hard fan and use it whenever I get out of the shower at night. The cocoa smell is my favorite. The use eliminated any stretch marks! It's amazing!When I saw this new product, I quickly ordered, but didn't realize it did not have the iconic scent I loved. This balm had a baby powder scent which honestly was off-putting. Since we already have our brand go-to for baby cream, I used this on my feet after a shower. First, I liked that the balm is super solid in this container so you don't get globs when diving in. I put minimal amount on my feet after using a pumice stone and put socks on. Later I took them off and my feet were so soft and smooth. I was very impressed. Plus, since I use the balm on my feet and put socks on to retain the moister, it muffles the baby powder scent. So overall, a solid 4 stars especially since I deviated from the intended purpose.

For a baby product this is wildly over scented. Smells like aftershave and you really can’t get the smell out easily. Terrible for a baby and no better for us parents. Do not recommend

I didn’t buy this product for my baby I brought it for my self as I am a frequent coco butter user and anything with baby labeled just has an amazing smell , this does smell like baby powder but but not overbearing , everyone in my house digged in after our showers ! I wish there was a size bigger 🥰

I ordered this product because I used a different Palmer's balm on my belly when I was pregnant. I chose that one to help prevent stretch marks and soothe my skin. I grew to love the Palmer's cocoa butter scent. Although my baby is no longer a baby, he is prone to eczema (as am I), so I'm always on the lookout for creams and lotions designed for sensitive skin. Upon opening this jar, I was greeted by what seemed to be that same lovely scent. As I breathed it in, I realized that the strength of the fragrance in this balm is overpowering -- too much of a good thing.While I will not use this cream on my young son, and certainly wouldn't choose it for an infant, I don't consider it a loss. It is thick and moisturizing. If I can tolerate the smell, I believe that it will make a good foot cream, especially with socks on top.
