My baby is just over 10 months old and although he is not yet stacking blocks and can't stack these, he finds them fascinating. He enjoys watching me stack them, finds the fact that they are also nesting blocks really interesting, and he also loves taking each into his little hands and examining them (the figures on each block). I think when his fine motor skills are advanced enough, he will definitely enjoy stacking them as well. They are a great size and the silicone seems to be of great quality (and it didn't come with a smell so it feels safe for my little one to put them in his mouth (which he very much likes to do). Also, they're easy to wash and air dry. Great all around, I think they are worth getting.

Picked these because they were silicone and I love the warm neutral colors. Fun for younger kids who are starting to explore the environment around them! What I like most is how expansive they become, yet they all stack back together in a very compact way when it comes time for clean up. Def recommend!

I always feel comfortable with toys for tots made of silicone. These silicone blocks are great for nesting and okay for stacking. They can be safely knocked down, gnawed on, thrown, dropped, and used in the bath. Both the 13 month old and 3 year old enjoyed playing with them. I also liked the pastel colors and animal figures found on each block.

As the grandparent of a now 13 month old, and the purchaser of at least 5 sets of stacking cups in the past, on top of the ones that came as gift, this set is absolutely at the top of my list of favorites. What I like is the heavier weight of these, without being too heavy. This actually makes them easier to handle and stack. They are shaped in a way that makes the stacked tower, even with all the cups used, quite stable. They are soft and have a really nice hand feel. Each cup has a different representation on each of the four sides with learning opportunities for math concepts and categories. The raised representations consist of a numeral, a corresponding configuration of dots, a nature icon, and a geometric icon. The bottom of each cup has a raised figure of an animal, plant, food, etc. that can be used as a stamp for play dough or cookies. Also on the bottom of each cup are one to three holes in various shapes which are good for water play. In addition to the cups, there is a pyramid shape to place at the top of a stack which gives a sense of completion. In my opinion, the clay color palette of the blocks is very pleasing. This set will be one that can last through the years and is a good value for all that it offers.

This Yiveko Baby Stacking Cups are a great gift for a baby! I ordered them because a few weeks ago, a friend had asked if I could baby sit her one year old. I wanted to bring something with me that the baby had never seen to increase my chances of keeping the baby happy. Well -- I'm happy to say that the baby was happy and we had a great afternoon. These cups are stackable as promised and also soft. They spent plenty of time in the babies mouth -- without any worry! They're very chewy -- without getting damaged. Great baby gift.

Building blocks have been a staple toy of every baby or young toddler that I’ve ever met. I fondly remember my old set of wooden blocks, worn and, with a younger brother and sister, well chewed. My own children mostly had plastic blocks which, with rounded edges and less heavy, were somewhat safer if perhaps less colourful. It seems that the new generation is going to benefit from modern, safer materials, and designs tailored to the needs of the very young.This cute set of cubes is constructed of silicone and takes up almost no storage room whatsoever! Best of all, the silicone construction provides the toy a multitude of uses; its fun for counting practice, perfect for bath time, and is a great stacking puzzle toy (or conversely, a nesting toy) to learn about size. When used for stacking, the blocks are designed to fit snugly on top of the the block one size larger; this makes it possible for toddlers to create a fairly high seven piece block stack and, finally, a tower which is capped off with the last piece in the set, a small rectangular pyramid. Each cube has attributes displayed on the five exterior surfaces; these include such things as pictures, numbers, tactile dots or features typical of a tower. Each also has holes on the bottom to provide easy drainage when used as a tub toy.Happily, the cubes are all easy to grip and manipulate and, of course, being constructed of food grade silicone are safe to chew on. They are washable and dishwasher safe, making them easy to keep clean. The cubes are beautifully designed and well constructed, a toy which requires little supervision and allows for independent play.Being made of silicone does present two minor drawbacks. The first is that silicone products such as these don’t have the vibrancy of colour that is so appealing to babies. The second is the initial smell of the product when opened. Our experience is that, with airing out, the distinctive silicone smell dissipates over the first few days and disappears within a week or two.Highly entertaining and child safe, this is a great baby toy! At its current price of $16 CAD (with coupon) this high quality toy is competitively priced. It would certainly make a practical yet fun gift for anyone with a baby or very young child. The fact that it packs down into such a small space makes it ideal for both storage and taking it with you wherever you go. Highly recommended.
