I am genuinely impressed by the quality of this product, especially considering its affordable price. Installation was remarkably straightforward. I purchased the compatible harness for my Ford Expedition, and the wiring process was completed in just 15 minutes. Naturally, routing the camera cables and connecting it took more time than the actual radio installation, but it was surprisingly easy overall.Having installed many radios in the past (though it has been some time), I found this unit incredibly user-friendly, making it quick to set up and start using. The sound quality is excellent, and the screen is both clear and highly responsive. My Android Auto connects seamlessly every time, and the apps function flawlessly—this being my first experience with Android Auto, I’m thoroughly impressed. The camera quality is sharp, and radio reception is strong.One aspect that stood out to me is how quickly the unit boots up. I’ve read reviews of other radios where slow startup was a concern, but this one performs efficiently in that regard.Additionally, I must commend the customer support team for their outstanding service. While the company’s website is still under development, the documentation directs users to their Facebook support team, who have been consistently responsive. After inquiring about firmware updates, they requested a screenshot of my version information and provided detailed step-by-step instructions to perform the necessary updates. They even offered to create four custom logos and wallpapers for me, which they promptly delivered after I sent the files.Overall, my experience with this product has been extremely positive. Given its quality and affordability, I highly recommend it.

If you've got a double-DIN opening, there are a bunch of options to replace the head-end, but most don't have a physical volume knob, very few are regularly updated, and VERY few work first time with Android Wireless.This unit, from P.L.Z. is really just about perfect. It was simple to install, came with GREAT instructions (a real rarity in this sort of hardware), and worked the first time. The volume knob is clickey and responsive and perfectly situated for the driver-on-the-left countries. The sound is good in my MR-2, and it drives all four speakers (and the factory sub) just fine.The user interface is rather simplistic, because this (while running Android 11 behind the scenes) is NOT one of the many units that barely (and badly) skins the launcher. Rather, this thing is focused on getting you immediately into Android Auto (no experience with Apply Play, sorry). There are options to play media from a USB drive, or a micro-SD flash drive, and it doesn't suffer from folder/file limits like most dedicated car-head-ends. The radio is functional, if a tiny bit less sensitive... and I wish it had HD radio, but they don't pretend it does.When you install it, you can take a picture of your Version Info screen and then send that with up to 4 images to use for the boot screen and up to 4 images to use as background/wallpaper. I sent my choices (of course I used the MR-2 "Screaming Chicken" for my boot logo) and less than 24 hours later I received new versions of the software (core application/MCU/BT) to update to the current. As of this review (2024-09-21) the versions are App: 2024-08-30, MCU: 2024-08-23, and BT: 2024-07-15, so VERY recent versions. I doubt there will ever be an Android version update, but since this isn't exposing the Android Play Store or generic launcher, that really shouldn't matter much.Things I like:1) VERY fast response from power on to live in Android Auto is under 10 seconds (typically much faster)2) Great customer service and great instructions3) Simple to install4) Nice to have custom boot logos/wallpapers5) (seemingly) No limit on filles contained on the SD flash (I've got well over 17000 on mine)6) Simple interface7) PHYSICAL VOLUME KNOB!!!8) Instant startup and super-quick connection to Android Auto9) Exact fit in a double-DIN... not too wide or too tall, like so many othersThings I don't like:1) I wish it came with the external microphone, some answers claim it does, but my package didn't have one and the internal mic is not great when the unit is so low in the dash (as it is in an MR-2)2) Radio sensitivity is sub-par. Would like it to be better, especially when in DX mode3) The browser for SD flash media assumes you want it listed by TAG alphabetical and always starts at the top (and starts playing the first song in a folder the instant you enter Media play). It should allow presenting the FOLDER hierarchy on the drive, and remember the last folder you were in.4) Should remember the last mode on power up (e.g. if I was listening to the SD media, don't jump right into Android Auto)5) When the phone is connected as Android Auto, it gives an error if you try to use the unit-hosted buttons to select BT Music or BT Phone (you have to go through Android Auto). Would be nice if those buttons didn't give an "INVALID" error and worked.Things I didn't test:1) Apple Car Play (I don't have an iCrud)2) Backup camera (my car is a two seater... I can see everything already, so I didn't even hook it up)3) (optional) Front cameraSummary:Would I buy this again? --Yes! I like it so much better than the various "full android" units that I've used before.What is the most important change that would make this better?-- Fix the SD Media player to all browse by folder and remember where you last were.Any advice?-- If you can get one, always get a Metra wire harness to match your factory radio... so swapping is easyUpdate: Fixed MCU version date.

I have to say that my first impressions were that this car stereo came nicely packaged useful comprehensive manual easy to follow installation was really easy the sound quality is really good not powerfully loud but is good the screen looks really good the touch screen is very responsive functions are easy to use but the best part as for me is the Android car play it works amazing and quick no need to use wired connection you can do it too but is easily bias Bluetooth connection it got front rear camera inputs another for other monitor ect sub audio connections if you have the proper interface connection you can retain steering wheel control. It really misses extra USB connections would be useful to charge other phone it also have micro SD card slot radio stations woks good sounds good overall is a nice stereo

I used to work in the car audio industry for more than a decade and have full blown systems in most all of my current and past cars...including my 15 yr old Tundra. I wanted to replace my Kenwood with a wireless android auto capable unit that has a rotary volume knob. This is not easy to find.ProsConnectivity, features, and ease of use is as good as any aftermarket radio I've ever had. This 926 unit with the Qled screen shows graphics well and is bright enough even in bright sun. The interface is fast and responsive and I've had no issues wirelessly connecting my phones...including newest Pixel 9.ConsFor the price this radio can't be beat but there clear differences in audio quality between this and my old Kenwood or the Pioneer I have in my other vehicle...higher noise floor, less dynamic, generally lower performance dacs, opamps etc.Nonetheless, the radio still sounds good and most of these differences in sound quality become negligible when driving a lifted truck on the freeway.Again, this is an awesome radio for the money. I would absolutely buy again.
