The media could not be loaded. The AEOCKY dehumidifier packs a punch in dehumidfying. My old loud energy draining dehumidifier died on July 20th. My 1250 square foot basement becomes very humid between June and late August every year. When the AEOCKY dehumidifier arrived, my basement humidity was at 73 percent which is awful when I keep the humidity level between 45 and 50 percent. Setting up the AEOCKY dehumidifier was a breeze, instructions were emailed after 1st day of purchase. I knew how to setup the dehumidifier before it arrived. I emailed support for a question and got a reply in less than 90 minutes. Once the dehumidifier arrived I set it up and waited 5 hours before starting. Once I started the dehumidifier, in 3 hours the humidity went from 73 to 67 percent and bucket was almost full. 3 hours after that the humidity went 67 percent to 58 percent bucket half full. 3 hours after that (9 hours total) humidity was at 47 percent. Basement was very comfortable and practically back to normal. To date 8/21 basement is perfect, the AEOCKY dehumidifier is working perfectly!Pros :Lightweight compared to others I have purchased.Extremely quiet and efficient on High Fan!Complete array of Humidity Settings.Safety Features!!!!Great size and fits decor of my finished basement!Easy to use and understand instructions. I live in the Midwest where it gets very humid in the summer and my AC does not do a very good job of removing the humidity. I bought this dehumidifier for the second floor of my home. I had one dehumidifier downstairs but the upstairs humidity was still getting over 70% at times. I have dust mite and mold allergies and both grow in a humid environment. The humidity itself also makes my congestion worse. Since I started using this dehumidifier it is much more comfortable and I feel better. It lowered the humidity significantly in the first few hours and after using it for a few days it is keeping it around 50-55% most of the time (or lower when the outside humidity dropped). In addition to how effective it is, what I like about it is: It is quiet, even on the higher speed; it has several different settings; the lights can be turned off completely except for a very dim power button (very important for sleeping); it’s easy to move to a different area; the bucket holds quite a bit and is easy to remove and empty; it seems to be of high quality with a better warranty than most; it’s Energy Star rated; it doesn’t take up a lot of space. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the “full” alarm a bit louder, as I sometimes don’t hear it if I’m not nearby.

I love this dehumidifier! I replaced one that I inherited from the previous owners of my new home and although that one had a larger tank, it was very, very loud and not good to sleep with. This dehumidifier is very, very quiet overall and works very well. In the height of summer, I needed to empty the tank about once every day, but it is very easy to do. It seems to do a good job of pulling the humidity out of the air throughout the house (850 square feet) and not only in the room in which it is located. I also like that you can turn off the lights while you sleep. There are two other light settings including one with a green, yellow, or red light telling you whether the humidity level is in range or not. When I went on vacation for a week, I inserted a drain hose and set the until by the bathtub and that worked just fine while I was away and unable to empty it. I haven't used the timer or other features or modes as I have it set at a certain humidity percentage and just leave it there, so I can't say about them, but all in all, I am very pleased with this unit which I have now used for about 4 months. As I live in a damp/humid area, I need to run a dehumidifier for a good bit of the year it seems.
