It takes a minute or two for the readings to level out but then works great. I definitely would give this sock 5 stars if the oxygen was real time instead of an average. I love that the base station is battery as well. Owlet could definitely stand to do this. The only thing that would make me choose owlet over this is the real time oxygen monitoring since they did the last health notifications update. Hopefully we will see some update with this device in the future. I'm very hopeful because I believe this sock is an excellent competitor for owlet.UPDATE- My baby had his wellness check yesterday and of course vaccinations. So overnight he started having a fever and the baby station started alarming for his HR over 170. At this age it should be less than 160. I appreciated it because he was clearly uncomfortable. I was able to get his fever reduced which in turn helped him relax and heart rate returned to normal range.

This sleep monitor is a handy tool for tracking baby's heart rate and oxygen levels, but I wouldn't rely on it completely. The sock can feel a bit cumbersome and a wee bit hard to manage, though I appreciate everything it monitors, as it provides some peace of mind if nothing else. I've had no major issues with the product itself, but the app can be laggy and doesn't always sync properly. Overall, I did find it useful, but the app may need some improvements for better functionality. I think as long as you can recognize that this is a tool and that you still need to be vigilant as a parent, then you’ll find this useful - it doesn’t replace you but it does help you worry just a little bit less!

at first it worked really well but after a month it started burning my daughters foot glitching a lot saying she’s not breathing when she definitely is the sock turned yellow and gross it moves around on her foot no matter how tight i would make it it would move around causing it to not read her heart rate it will also randomly turn off for no reason it will just turn off. if u want a foot monitor that gives u a lot of problems than i would recommend this one. very disappointing.

I used this product to monitor my granddaughter oxygen level while she's sleeping and eating! The fact that she was not irritated by it ,along with the Quality&Accurate recordings of her oxygen level,made it an even more Victorious outcome!

This thing is amazing! So happy with all the features! The base is 100% worth it! Also the reason I went with this one is because no wifi is needed to use! Once you download the app and it connects to the base, you can set the alarms to go off when you want, such as the oxygen level range, pulse, and even an alarm for if the sock disconnects from the base! The alarm is loud enough on all the way up if right by your bed (they could make it louder for the deep sleeper). The sock thing is a bit bulky but seems to work just fine!! Battery lasts all night (I do just keep the base plugged in). Overall very happy with this purchase especially at half the price of an owlet! The one thing I think would be neat if they added in the future is a feature that alerts if baby has abnormal temperature.Sidenote: It does read abnormal for like a minute or something after you first put it on so you do have to give it time to figure it out!

While I would never suggest using this and then leaving the room without a baby monitor or leaving your child in an unsafe sleep situation, it does give you peace of mind during the night, especially during those early newborn days. It really serves to let you know if something were to happen you can be alerted and maybe get helper that much faster. I know it was hard for me to sleep not knowing if my baby would be okay so being able to settle my mind that if this didn't go off, he was okay let me fall asleep faster which really made a difference in those early days!

If you've ever wondered how your baby's pulse rate changes while you sleep, whether they are a restless sleeper who moves around a lot, or what the oxygen levels are, then this device is really handy to have.The app is easy to use and setup straightforward. Just be a little patient as it goes through its initial connection and configuration. Importantly, registration is *not* required to use the app or the device, and all data is kept locally on the device and not in the cloud. But, only a few days of data are retained locally and the instructions say some features are limited. Registration stores full history in the cloud.Viewing history does require the device to be connected to your phone at the time (I think because multiple devices are supported by the app).The sock on this model is pretty cumbersome. The company also makes another model with a smaller Velcro band, but doesn't include the separate monitor/base station like this one has.Really neat tool.
