loving this especially for my thin and tangled hair. leaves a great perfume on the hair and makes it very soft. i have no trouble with combing after this.

They recently changed the formula of the hydrate line. It used to have a very small amount of fragrance that was pleasant. Now the fragrance is different and it has A LOT of fragrance, it smells like you've doused yourself in axe body spray. It makes me nauseous. It is also no longer sulfate free, it now says it contains "no harmful sulfates" because they added Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, which is not technically a sulfate since it doesn't foam, but just as drying and damaging as regular sulfates. Frustrating, the whole point of the shampoo was that it was gentle and sulfate free. I used it because I have eczema and needed something gentle on my skin, but now this shampoo is not it!!!

I got VERB hydrate shampoo for my girls at home. But I ended up using it myself. So far, I like it. The shampoo is a little thicker than the others. I like it so it is not as runny. The shampoo has a slight sweet fruity scent. It is not strong, but if you want scentless shampoo this is not for you. The shampoo lather easily and washes off easily with warm hot water. I have thin silky hair. Immediately after using the shampoo, I can feel the hair is silky soft like using the hair conditioner. The shampoo is slightly expansive but also is larger bottle. This will last a long time.

I've used the Verb hydrate shampoo and conditioner for maybe 2 years now and loved both. This most recent bottle of shampoo that I got however had a formula change (checking their website shows the conditioner changed too) and the added fragrance has caused some issues with my scalp.The new formula is also thicker than the previous one which has made it tougher to work into a leather across my scalp and hair but not my biggest complaint.If you have any issues with scents in your hair products, either pick something else or wait to see if Verb goes back to their previous formula.

Have repurchased this shampoo multiple times now, it does a great job at cleansing without irritating my very sensitive scalp. It also is very hydrating which I love. Recommend for anyone who gets contact dermatitis from shampoos or products on their scalp.

Comes in a large bottle for a good value. I find the scent to be mild, and it doesn't stick to my hair.I have thin, color treated hair cut just above shoulder length. This leaves my hair feeling light and clean, and does not cause itching as some other shampoo does on my sensitive scalp.
