the massager is a bit different considering it's a hard shell instead of a soft one like i'm used to. the folding mechanism is a nice way to keep it compact and stored away.the heat part works well, though felt a little hot for me. the bluetooth music works ok, but not exactly hi-fi.i was surprised that this is relatively comfortable even given the hard shell though. I think that's my one complaint about it though, given the hard shell, no matter how comfortable, makes it really hard to fall asleep wearing it.

I've been using this on my breaks at work and it is absolutely perfect because of the timer! These have been helping a lot with my dry eyes from staring at computer screens every day, and have been super comfortable and easy to charge. They fit in my purse and come with a charger.It does play sound, but the audio right on my head tends to bother me a little personally, but I will note that it does have decent quality if that's something someone else enjoys. It's not tinny or too bassy, it's pretty evenly toned. I did worry that these might be a little heavy, cause while they can fit in a bag easily, they are a little bulky in shape - but they're pretty lightweight.I had been using disposable eye masks previously but was starting to get concerned about the recyclability, so having a reusable eye mask is just better anyway.

I ordered this eye massager with heat from Bolo Vine, and it came in such a fancy packaging and it is so good looking that made me think I was in for something special. When I first tried it on, it was quite tight around my head, but later I figured out how to adjust the headband and although I think I made it a little bit loose now, at least it is way more comfortable after I made this quick adjustment.I am glad that it is rechargeable because dealing with batteries is such a hassle, and the built-in music was a nice surprise since I was expecting to pair it with my phone just then be able to listen to music, but it started playing music as soon I turned it on.It has different massage modes, and I found the soft mode to be the most relaxing with its gentle air pressure, warm compress, and soothing tunes. It was perfect for those moments when I just needed to chill out. The strong mode was a bit too intense for me because the high air pressure and heat felt overwhelming, so I usually avoid that one. The relax mode was supposed to help me unwind, but the vibrations actually made me more alert, which was not what I was going for when trying to relax.Wake mode was quite a joy because the strong air pressure, hot compresses, and vibrations were definitely effective in waking me up, and I am mainly using this mode on the days that I really need to get up and I don’t feel like getting up even though I have to because it is not so relaxing and actually feels more like a wake-up call.After trying all them out, I decided that I like the sleep mode the best, because for me the combination of a warm compress and soft music was just what I needed to wind down at the end of a long day. I did wish the sessions lasted longer than 15 minutes, as it was so relaxing that I often found myself restarting the massager just to continue enjoying it. Overall, my experience with this eye massager has been great because it is comfortable and the soft and sleep modes help me relax.

In determining how high of an opinion I will likely have of an eye massager, I usually put the massager into place, on my face, right out of the box without reading any instructions, and just start using it. I like to do this because it is a good indication for me of how simple and easy it is to use. This is very important for me. This massager indeed is simple and easy to use, as there are four control buttons that are easily identifiable and can be accessed by touch alone (as is necessary because eyes are covered when this is being used). Also, with every touch of one of the buttons, a voice announces what the touch of the button has accomplished (such as “soft mode”, “low volume“, “high volume“, etc.). This alone is very helpful. There are multiple options with regard to the available modes, and each one varies with regard to exactly what parts of the area around my eyes receive the massage, and the intensity delivered. Overall, I think it is a fairly diverse set of options that, while not the best that I have ever used, is still quite good, and certainly helps me to get into a more relaxed state. When all is said and done, I think this is a very good device, solidly made, and a very good “middle of the road“ therapeutic eye massager, which is appropriate for its price point.
