I’m really into cuckoo clocks, including one from Germany. There are 2 types: mechanical and quartz. The mechanical ones can get pricey, sometimes costing thousands. This quartz one has the classic German style and quality but at a much better price. highly recommended

For the price it’s an exceptional deal. It’s a very lovely well made clock that came in well padded professional packaging with detailed careful instructions. A lot of well thought out measures and care were taken with this product. The chockoo chime sounds very lovely. The only thing I could do without would be the little melodies that sound cliche and more like a child toy. I certainly knew and had seen the videos so it wasn’t a surprise and i am still very happy with this product. A turn off melody button might be an idea at some point.

This clock is not handmade! It is “Made in China” and of brittle compressed or plastic wood i don’t even know. What I do know is it is not what they describe it to be AND the coo coo is just that COO COO! The chiming is backwards!At 3 o’clock it chimes 9 times at 9 o’clock it chimes 3 times etc etc. I really dislike how businesses advertising is false

For the price I’m extremely pleased with this clock. It offers real wood that could at least pass for hand crafted. It’s battery operated but mimics a mechanical clock well enough. The bird is quite small but rocks each time it Coos so that is a plus. It also plays a variety of know tunes at the hour so I don’t get tired of the same old ditty. Overall I enjoy it every time it strikes the hour.

Is there anyway you can just have the hourly cuckoo but without the music afterwards?I would have given it 5 stars if I could work out how to just get the cuckoo sound...
