Got these for my eight year old grandson and he loves them. The first one was a little hard to put together but he did well with the rest of them in the set.

5.0 out of 5 stars Such a fun way to incorporate STEM
Homeschooling can be rough sometimes but as we have entered our third year, I have found some pretty good ways to keep them involved and interacting with the learning process. I have hoth sons and a daughter so fining a way to capture both of their attention can be a real challenge. Coming across these kits that are little robot builds has been alot of fun! Bc the offer such a good variety, I dibbed this one the boys kit and they absolutely took the time and care to build each one! They fully function as well. It's easy tonfollow instructions and keeps them busy as they learn important lessons along the way. Anything I can do to help them break away from the screens on their devices is worth buying and bringing home. There see quite a bit of pieces Inside each project that they have separated for you but do not get discouraged. Whe they start to move through the steps, the pieces (mostly tiny screws and other parts) are used up rather fast and it won't be too much for them to take on. They are so proud of themselves when they finish and have an object they can hold an look at and play with to show them the hard work paid off. These are Wesome extras to have with their regular lessons and we love them at our house. I will definitely be going back for more. Highly recommend
4.0 out of 5 stars Not quite up to quality standards, but still worthwhile
Basically this kit is a mini erector set with different vehicles to build. The build steps are simple with only a half dozen or so steps to follow. The challenge is that the pieces and the screws are all really small. My 10-year-old managed to build them all in 2 afternoons. It probably takes 15 minutes per vehicle.Unfortunately the quality is far from top-notch. The propeller on the wind-powered car had a fin snap off within minutes of first trying it out, we don't even know what it might have hit to cause it to break. A couple of the googly-eyes that you are supposed to adhere to the front to make the vehicles have personality were poorly manufactured with the pupil partially outside the sealed perimeter. The wires on the battery holders are composed of very fine strands without being tinned/soldered and are finicky to attach. The plastic molding for some items such as the wired-remote are simply terrible. This ain't no "Mark Rober" production, but you get what you pay for. Still educational and well-suited for a 10-year-old with above-average patience, so I give it a solid 4 stars.
5.0 out of 5 stars Peferct For Teaching STEM at School or Home!
I recently purchased the STEM Science Kits for my kids, and it has been an absolute hit in our household! This robot building kit is an amazing way to introduce young minds to the world of STEM while providing hours of educational fun.The kit comes with five different robot cars, including a solar-powered car, a wind-powered car, an obstacle avoidance robot, a tank, and a wire-controlled car. My kids, aged 7 and 9, were instantly captivated by the variety and couldn’t wait to start building. Each robot offers a unique learning experience, sparking their curiosity and imagination as they assembled the different components. One of the highlights of this kit is how it brings the family together. We’ve spent countless hours building these robots as a family, creating a fun and educational environment right at home. It’s been a wonderful way to bond with my children while helping them develop their problem-solving skills and understanding of basic science principles. The kits are well-designed and come with easy-to-follow instructions. While some of the more complex robots were a bit challenging for my younger child, it was a great opportunity for us to work together, and they learned so much through the process. The sense of accomplishment they felt after completing each robot was priceless! What I particularly love about this STEM kit is how it combines learning with play. My kids were not only having fun but also developing fine motor skills and gaining a better understanding of how different types of energy work. It’s a fantastic way to encourage a love for science and engineering from a young age.Overall, the STEM Science Kits for Kids is a fantastic investment in your child’s education and entertainment. The quality of the materials, the variety of projects, and the educational value make it a must-have for any young aspiring engineer. I highly recommend it for kids aged 6-12, as it provides endless opportunities for learning, creativity, and family fun!
