5.0 out of 5 stars Gorgeous keyboard at a reasonable price!
Akko sells an identical-looking keyboard, just with different (arguably better, ymmv) keycaps, and with tri-mode functionality. It also costs quite a bit more. While I like the added functionality of a tri-mode keyboard, I hate lithium-ion batteries, because they are a fire hazard - one growing exponentially, as more and more of them enter our homes. So I loved that I could buy a wired look-alike of the Akko keyboard, sparing myself the risks, as well as the bother of disassembly for battery removal.Given the much cheaper cost of the keyboard (especially with coupons), I was able to buy a large set of gorgeous, Japanese-themed MOA keycaps that works not just with this particular layout, but the layout of every keyboard I currently own. I was also able to pick up a Japanese themed, coordinating, mousepad, and even an additional keycap set (to take advantage of yet another discount), and still paid less than if I’d just bought the AKKO keyboard.Other than swapping out the keycaps, I left the keyboard stock, and it is decent sounding and feeling. With tinkering, I know I could make it sound and feel even better, but for now, it’s perfectly good enough as is.Overall, the M68 is a beautiful keyboard, and a lovely and unique addition to my growing mechanical keyboard collection.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality keyboard, Looks great and has a great typing experience.
bought this for a second seldom used pc but when I started using it moved it to the main pc right away. They keys have an amazing feel and sound. The Backlight is bright and customizable. the wood color and brass trim look great. Love that you can control the backlighting effects without having to download software to the computer. Hear that Razer!

i bought this keyboard to build up on. it is a beautiful case and a good pcb. ive yet to have any issues with it. even has padding which dampens the sounds. i paired it with pbt keycaps and ice king switches. i highly recommend
5.0 out of 5 stars Very sleek
100% replacing the ugly fake wood keys in the future for black ones and getting real Walnut keys for my accent keys. But keys aside I love this board.(Additional note: if you have Spectrum Internet the software download website is blocked and you have to find a work around to get the software or just accept that you can't use it)
5.0 out of 5 stars No need to custom build!
A couple of years back I watched a video of someone who had a custom made wooden keyboard case. It sounded amazing and the look was stellar. Since that time I have considered having one made then putting a standard 65% pbc in it with the hopes it would all fix correctly... then I found the XVX M68!After all this time I was quite excited to get this keyboard because it was so unique. How would it sound? Would it be heavy? What if I hated it?!?Luckily all of those questions were answered when the board arrived. As you can see it came packed with everything would expect with a mechanical keyboard. While the keycap puller isn't the best, I was very happy they included the little keychain you can place a switch on. I had seen a one in the past and it's turned out to be a nice distraction for someone who rarely has anything on their keychain but keys. (me)To the board, the case is simply stunning, the walnut with the gold accent is beautiful. It's not heavy at all compared to a full AL build, weight is more akin to a plastic build if you don't want something to heavy. The sound out of the box with the included foam is definitely on the deeper creamier side. If you want clack I'm sure some louder switches would make a difference as this is almost a low profile case (more on that below). The stabilizers were tuned well out of the box and I have had no need to add anything to them or modify them at all. They are clip in plate stabs but work just great.RGB is good as expected and works well with the shine through caps which are good for front shine through caps. From my experience to get this type of cap to work great they aren't made to thick. That is the case with these as well but they have a nice texture and type quite well making a pleasant sound when typing with the included switches.Things to note - these may be a con to some and plus for others but definitely worth noting. The plate/PBC sit a little high in the case. Because of this you will see the RGB under the caps and it increases the height of the first row of keys. I'm not sure I would say this is a full "low profile case" but it's not a higher profile either, it's somewhere in between. The black shine through caps are not the most visually stunning for this board from an aesthetic perspective in my opinion.Bottom line - build quality and included components are fantastic and the case is simply stunning. While I have a number of their keycaps this is my first XVX board to review and I'm very please with what they have done. I will probably put a more garden themed keycap set on it as some point in the future but for now I'm definitely enjoying the typing experience and this case as I consider what else to pull together for a new desk theme as this will make a great focal point for any setup!
5.0 out of 5 stars Converted!
I have a Logitech MX keys non-mechanical keyboard that I've used for years but have been interested in mechanical keyboards for some time. After trying out a Razer Blackwidow V2 I found at a thrift store for $5 I was basically convinced I wasn't a mechanical keyboard person. However, I gave this a shot anyways as it looks so attractive and I was in the market for a 60% keyboard to save space on my desk. Wow is all I can say. The feel and sound of typing on this -even right now for this review- is so exceptional it literally motivates me to work more just to listen to and feel the satisfying click of the keys. I swear I type faster on it too, probably ergonomics. I would recommend doing a tape/foam "mod" on it as it makes the sound go from great to downright ASMR and only takes a few minutes. The software is the only thing that isn't stellar but once I set the lighting to my preference I have no need to interact with it further so it doesn't bother me.
