5.0 out of 5 stars Convenient consumable capsule of carmelized caffeination
When I ordered this, I had actually selected the normal latte flavor as the caramel option wasn't available. Much to my delight, when it showed up at my doorstep shortly afterwards, the java gods had read my innermost thoughts and supplied me with the caramel goodness I desired.Overall, it's got a great flavor with a nice robust coffee base to it. The caramel is present but not too sweet or overpowering. Like with most canned coffee drinks, you've got to shake it well before consuming to get the flavors to all mingle with each other properly. That being said, if you're not pounding it down in one shot, it does start to settle a bit about halfway through the can. You kind of have to swirl it to rebalance things to ensure the cream doesn't just float on the top. It's about average on sugar & caffiene content compared to other similar drinks in the space. Great little pick me up that's been a staple in my bag on the way into the office.
4.0 out of 5 stars Nice coffee hit, not too sweet
As a long-time drinker of Starbucks bottled mocha fraps as well as some other prepackaged latte coffees, I really liked this. The Costa is less sweet than those other brands -- and of course not mocha at all -- which I appreciate, so it's a great dose of coffee flavor, especially on a hot summer morning.I'm only giving it just four stars for two reasons. The first is the weird instruction to shake the can before opening; the can is slightly pressurized, so it spurts out a potentially messy bit of latte if you open if after shaking. The second is the price -- for almost $3 an 11-ounce can bought in bulk, it's about 25 cents an ounce, and not an particular value.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very good
These are excellent, and so convenient. I missed the big "shake" instruction on the can, so the first few I probably wasn't getting the full experience, but I still felt these hit the mark pretty well. My husband shook his quite a big yesterday, and then it ended up fizzing out all over the top and making a mess. Maybe the instructions should be - "shake then let rest for a minute." Granted that's not very catchy. Anyway, we have enjoyed these quite a bit. It's not exactly what you would hope to get at a Starbucks or something, but for something out of a can sitting in your fridge, this is great.
4.0 out of 5 stars Not too sweet
I find a lot of prepared coffee beverages to be way too sweet, this one had a good balance. Good coffee flavor but more of a chocolate milk vibe.
5.0 out of 5 stars So Yummy!
This is a super yummy coffee. I'm a coffee person, and I drink it regularly. This is so good and smooth. It's the cheapest, but when you think about the cost of a cup of coffee at any coffee shop, you will pay more. I look at these more as a treat because there is a good bit of sugar and carbs, both of which I'm watching. I feel like this is also a great add to my regular coffee, using it almost as a creamer/flavor.
4.0 out of 5 stars light and sweet
Pretty good canned coffee latte drink. It has a very good balance of coffee, sugar, and milk. it tastes good and is refreshing once its cold. One thing that is strange though is that on the can it says "shake well and drink", but one of the ingredients it has is baking soda, and when you shake the can it produces some carbonation and kind of goes all over the place when opened. I tried one without shaking the can and it does change the taste. without shaking it up, it had a aftertaste of the baking soda, and that was not all that pleasant to me. I think its a good coffee drink, but think its kind of strange to have baking soda in them.
3.0 out of 5 stars Convenient but Lacks Depth in Flavor
This Costa’s Iced Coffee Latte Signature blend is convenient, especially when you’re on the go, but it falls short in flavor. It’s priced on the higher side, and the taste doesn’t quite match the expectations of a rich, deep coffee experience. Compared to my homemade Nespresso, this just doesn’t have the same depth or satisfaction. If you’re in a rush and need a quick coffee fix, it’s okay, but I wouldn’t rely on it as a go-to for a quality coffee moment.
5.0 out of 5 stars Refreshing afternoon boost!
A refreshing afternoon boost / pick me up drink. has 85 mg of caffeine. its a good balance of coffee and milk mixed together. The coffee flavors comes out a bit more to the milk and not too creamy. I can easily drink a couple cans in one sitting , but i probly shouldnt :). Overall a good drink that comes in at about $3 per can.
